Maranta isn't in our best 17 so it's not really opening a spot to secure for anyone, that said though, reed is supposed to be out for the first month, so it might get Anderson a few games, but he'd prolly have to play out of his skin to force a reshuffle.

I figured it would make the 1st month interesting though, as Reed is out as well at this stage isn't he?

    Playing annual leave?

It's been said a few times from a few different sources provided on here that it will be.

Milchy's spreadsheets have made the game opening semi redundant as we have all the prices and team planners already. The day after team lists though...

I believe now that it was a gee up or a mistake.  Saw a post from them yesterday saying they haven't finalised the release date.

    There goes my POD

The 23-year-old, who was selected in the World All Stars side to play the Indigenous All Stars next month, will now be sidelined for 10-12 weeks. He will also miss out on the World Club Series match against Wigan and several rounds of the 2016 NRL season.

Do Thurston, Farah and Frizzel actually have injuries or is the all stars game turning into city-country?

Edit: So JT is more interested in what is basically a trial in England then the all Stars game.

Farah isn't injured he's going to the superbowl.

But the short answer is yes.

With all the restrictions on how many players from each team and country it's nothing like the world's best. Marantra was getting a run for god's sake. That goes to show even the coach thinks it's a piss take.

Just noticed that Parker averaged on 62 minutes last year but was one of the highest scorers in the game. Surely we will see an increase of minutes there along with even higher scores!

This is why nobody takes the all-stars seriously.

Maranta is going to pull out with some dodgy injury and we'll get given a lesser player as a replacement

I mean he is now a year older than he was last year after all. Plus broncos second row: Alex Glenn and Matt Gillett are less likely to need a rest vs Parker (being at lock, tackling more and age), so I don't see how his mins would increase this year. But take that with a pinch of salt as I am far, FAR from an expert lol.

    Tapine
    JTurbo

I originally had Brown but Matai will go down and he will be moved into the centres.
