Poop. I typically panicked last minute and switched in Moses, thinking the high ownership and the likelihood of Parra putting a cricket score on the dogs was a risk I didn't want to take.

No point planning a team for a shortened season. If the comp goes on hold, it might restart in a month or two. Most injured players will be back by then so all the cheapies may not be relevant.
Anyways really looking forward to the footy this weekend especially as we may only have a few weeks (if that) to enjoy it.

Zero risk of that against the Roosters. Your move is fine mate.
Will just about be his season low: they sat on 2pts for over an hour

The NRL is also not an organisation with coffers of money to easily get through such a hiatus. If they have to close shop it will leave a huge dent for them. Even worse, if they suspend the rounds and the AFL continues, it will be their worst nightmare as their audiences tune in to the rival code out of a need for a gap fill sport. Massive consequences for RL as a game.

North Queensland are in briefing at the moment. At this stage game will go ahead as planned with crowd but things are moving rapidly. (Brent Read)

NRL this morning informed stadiums that games are still to be played this round. That could change quickly. NRL have scheduled major meeting for Monday to discuss shutdown. Appears inevitable season will be postponed. Players have made it clear they won’t play in empty venues.

Why would players not play in empty stadiums, more people watch on tv anyway.

I don't know, seems stupid.
The NRL pays them. If the NRL makes the call to play in empty stadiums then what say do the players have?

Yeah, teams play at ANZ and CBus, what's the difference?

Because it's not the same. Players thrive off the atmosphere. I'd rather them postpone the season rather than play without crowds, just wouldnt be the same

Y2K is a really good compairon actually, great points as usual cow. Saw a video shared today where there was a line of people queued to get into the grocery story that stretched the entirety of the parking lot because of the whole rules around how many people can be in there at one time. The reality is its going to be shit for us regardless, I'd rather that 'shit' be that i miss some league than any of the alternatives.
Is this the standard, lining up etc ? Which country is that, Italy?
