53 points all in base stats - 45 tackles, 141 MG. Seems 60 minutes is spot on for him. A couple TB's and an OL and he is seeing big scores??

Thought I had my trades sorted with Wakeham > Katoa and Musgrove > Guler then realised that while it helps gain cash, it doesnt improve my points much, as it doesnt really improve my starting team significantly. Also expecting that high value rookies are going to be appearing each week at the moment, that I can trade these guys to next week.

While I dont have many guys that I am really disappointed with, probably the 2 that didnt really get the role I wanted and can free up the cash for the big gun move that I really want to do are Levi and Knight.

Here are some options I am looking at, Cleary, Hughes, Isaako, Williams. While others like Yeo, Horsey, Sami, Benji all dont have the long term job security of the reasons that they scored so well in round 1.

Cleary - Went with Moses in this toss up. As expected, without Maloney beside him, he was dominant. 68 points without needing to do anything too special. Could amazingly be a typical game for him, with possible upside at times when he has a blinder. Last weeks great score included 571 km, (28 points), 4 goals (8 points), 19 tackles (19 points), he averaged 90 running meters last season (9 points), that is 64 points per week, without having to do anything spectacular!! Also averaged 2 TBs per week last season, another 6 points!! Currently priced at 54. The guy I am looking likely to rip my team apart to get in. Hard to do though when you have Haas, Lolo, Fifita, Moses.

Hughes - At halfback, averages 22 tackles (last week 30), 60 meters gained (last week 60), the big difference last week was kicking 275m making him the primary kicker over Munster (158 km) for the first time, and 2 of those kicks were really quality try assists finding the winger on his wing. If he can keep the kicking meter average at that, it gives him 41 points just in those 3 stats each week, plus anything else he can add to it, currently priced at 40. Dual too.

Isaako - Got the great role we all expected in January and all had in our teams, before he lost form, Bird found his mojo, then got taken out for the season. His 63 last week was his best score at fullback and he was playing behind a rampant Broncos team. It included a try and try assist. In my team, WFB isnt a weakness with all 3 players scoring well last week.

Williams - Will need attacking stats to be a standout, and won't be playing Titans every week. Can wait and see, if still scoring great, can look at trading him in after a week or 2. Would imagine not many teams would have Moses, Cleary and Williams if we end up there.

So, at the moment, looking at trades of:
Levi > Cleary and Knight > Katoa

    Gun up!

Gular just had a exceptional game. I cant believe he will continue that.

I see many many 30’s or less in his future.

Named on interchange again this week, just 55 minutes last week, likely his normal role. Score boosted by a try and try assist last week. Pass.

Okay please don't judge too harshly, but I effed up my backline... Just wondering if I should attempt a fix or focus on getting cash generating

    Fusitua Burns
    Papy Kennedy Aekins

Fus won't lose too much cash, Burns will be leaking without a big score
Aekins like Fus won't lose too much but can't stand having another shit score

Keen to pick up Katoa and potentially Guler/Flegler
Or do I pick up Watkins/Isaako and Guler/Katoa instead? Kind of balanced

*After reading the article from the Warriors owner, I'm 90% confident they're going to stay in the comp

**Got Williame in cover to play around with

Warriors are going to struggle with team replacements, so see Katoa as a must have given what we saw from him last week.

Then fix up some of that back line. Maybe Burns > Aubbo to start with so you arent burning cash, then gradually resolve the rest each week.

I too own Knight and Levi.

Would you trade them for Flegler and a Moses/Fifita?

Not a bad analysis. Somewhat agree with most of the points.

The logic for those trades are solid. I think good call depending what your FRF looks like. Cleary is going to be the gun half alongside SJ (barring injury)

I'm most tempted by Isaako, and then Hughes for my team.

Yeah I'm more comfortable with the balanced option. I do have a bit of cash but can see some other guns getting out of reach of I don't hold it

FRF is Haas, Carrigan, with Kerr, Rudolf and Musgrove for backup, just in case. Really liking Kerr, got the 40 minutes I was hoping for, just didnt get the expected PPM, so is flying under the radar. BE of just 16 this week, should be a decent earner and in round 12 he should get big minutes with Origin stars away. Rudolf looking great, just needs minutes, which should come when guys like Fifita break down. Musgrove earns a reprieve this week.

I'm all over Hughes (selling Friend for him and Tuala to Guler), his KMs give him the floor that I want, and he's always been great in attack. He's a prime candidate for a 2019 Jack Wighton style rise to gun status while nobody really has him.

Should I trade Aekins to Isaako or give Aekins another chance?

Anyone sees Aekins improving his fantasy output? Thanks.

Crichton on the bench again this week and I read Edwards will be back next week. I've never seen someone I needed to get rid of as urgently as Aekins, mate. Get rid of the muppet now! Wink

At least that's what I'm doing anyway. Smile Wish I just went with Kennedy off the bat.

Not this year, but I had this happen to me last year. Was pretty cool while it lasted, but it wasn't long. Can't even remember if it was a full round or two. But yeah, sadly not again this year. Out of curiosity, you on Apple or Android? I was on Apple last year; on Android this year.
