Lets go shopping! Some potential matchups for Rd3 or Rd4 trades perhaps?
    Twal or Yeo
    Watson or Drinkwater
    Isaako or Hughes

4 trades for R3 allows me to fix all my problems. Having performing cows not close to peaking is kind of a blessing and curse

I wonder if everyone is starting on 28 trades or they’re deducting trades already used, could see people running out of trades quite early if they only have just over a trade a round after R3

I believe it is 28 total so your previous trades come off that

Not a huge fan of giving out 8 trades in two weeks, but whatever. Will prob go close to max trading given as Milch said its a bit of a race to final team immediately.

8 trades in 2 weeks is basically just moving the origin rounds to now.

Reducing total number of trades is good so that people who do max trade will have less flexibility in the run home

Its going to be chaos if 2nd wave of the virus causes more disruption though, If one or more NRL teams have to miss games due to quarantine going to wreck fantasy.

Early thoughts for 4 trades ....
    Out: Watkins, Walters, Kennedy, Fifita
In: Sami, Grant, Tevaga, Magoulias (if named at lock)

    IMO:

Twal as Capewell returning may affect Yeo. Twal has slightly better pedigree from last year (extra cost though)
Drinkwater short term, ideally both if Watson big min HOK. Drinkwater much cheaper though
Hughes for base, Isaako for ceiling

Pete Evans has come out in support of Bryce Cartwright, if that's isn't evidence enough to Bryce that he's on the wrong side I don't know what is.

28 trades is awkward. Most are spending around 4-6 trades just fixing their team following the break, they haven't received much value yet for their value buys, and I expect finding good value low cost players may not be so easy at the restart.

It may be difficult to use 8 trades effectively now and still reach a gun team at the end, while allowing for a likely higher number of players missing due to illness through the season. Also if they go with the 18th man rule that has been proposed if a player is taken out of the game for HIA, that player then has a mandatory 14 day stand down. Going to be tricky trying to reach the end with a complete squad if you burn too many trades too early.

Where are you finding all the funds for these big purchases? Besides Fifita, my other trade outs are all in the $300k range.

Replacement for Watkins is the bit I am struggling with too. No centers that are jumping out at me, really hoping that one of Crichton, Leleisiao, or Fidow get a center spot, will make life much easier.

Amended breach notice for Nathan Cleary. Now facing 2 match ban for being untruthful to integrity unit.

Shit... awkward timeframe. In some ways I prefer it to 1 week though, at least it is after the 4 trade weeks, makes it harder to trade him in ahead of week 5 for those that dont have him.

Unfortunately its great for Luai though

Well, had Dfifi to NC all set before this news! They usually get 5 days to respond to these things from memory.

May isnt due back yet, who would be likely to get a run in the halves, wonder if Crichton is an option at 6?

Looks like I will have the following 5 (at a minimum) out for round
    DFifita Cleary Ponga, Watkins Stimson
Then there are guys like Kennedy, Katoa, JTB, and Walters who might not be doing what I want them too (and may be more urgent trade outs if they are losing cash from the bench rather than missing out altogether)

So no choice but to max trade, and decide who I keep out of my missing guns (probably Ponga as he only misses 1 game)

Grant is one trade in, Watson quite possibly another. But other than that its wait to see what happens when squads start getting named.

    Matt Burton easily

May also facing 2 match suspension in regards to Cleary breach notice (which I guess is added onto previous suspension)
