Oh shit, I don't like Kerr's odds after Fuimaono's last effort. Timing was horrid for him, but that looked like the kind of effort that would get you plenty more weeks on the paddock. Kerr, however, was pretty sluggish and really unimpressive. But, of course, he looked pretty tentative with that leg strapped up so hopefully he's in better condition and ready to go. Don't like those, odds, though. Even Host seems to have been preferred over Kerr for a while, hasn't he? Amazingly.

Other than form, him playing both forwards and backs makes him a good bench option.

Lots of practice (and potential for illness of any kind) still to come, so who knows come game day.

Is anyone considering Frizell. He's started the season well with scores of 57 & 56 including 9 tb's, playing 80 mins both games. I never consider him every year but with no origin & looking in great form he could score well. Even with the return of the players from injury imo he's still going to play big minutes on the edge.

Yeah, I thought he's looked really good in those Indigenous All Star games so I'd love to see that given a chance to be unleashed. He's definitely one I'd rather not get rid of.

I usually have Frizell on my watch list and hadn't put him there yet just because of Origin, but you make a good point with Origin now being a non-issue. I'll add him to my list for consideration.

Sims was 80 minute 2RF last season. Now that he is back he likely gets that role back at the expense of Frizell.

Thoughts on holding Croft vs selling? Got 1k ITB after my other 3 trades and nobody else is a glaring weakness in my team.

Pros of keeping Croft: He looked really good in the first game and as long as he stays fit, he shouldn't lose that much cash.

Cons of keeping Croft: Holding him means not selling him to someone that will make cash.

Oh my the Cleary news gets worse. Turns out that he wasn’t even at his house when they recorded that tik tok. It was one of the girls house

Lmao, nearly everything he originally said turned out to be a lie. Deserves a longer ban

That might be why he didn't contest the ban. Just shut up and hope it goes away quietly

A longer ban would help me in my decision to trade him though

    Exciting to be back!

However, when I've done well in previous years it's been all about juggling the bye rounds and getting the best non-origin players and numbers on the park and making big strides rounds 12-18. New strategy required.

There are a few players who wouldn't normally be in consideration who now are. Frizzell is the obvious one, but also Munster and - if the long rest means he's not broken - Cordner. But Teddy becomes an absolute priority.

Fox Sports predicted teams, a few clear things missing like Rapana ahead of Simonsson.

With Roberts out I would expect Latrell to play center and AJ at fullback, unless Latrell got really fit over the break.

They confirm Moylan still injured news with Kennedy expected to retain his spot
Damien Cook said today Campbell Graham will move to centre if Roberts is out and that Latrell will play fullback with AJ onto the wing.

If I was coach mate I’d pick Fuimaono.

As for the predicted team lists which I know mean nothing really no sign of E.Katoa in that Warriors side.

If he doesn’t make their 17 there is yet another issue for me to deal with to a growing list.

I think old Fiona has done a pretty good job with the new rules. An extra two trades a week for the first two rounds back gets people coming back and engaged and able to fix their teams without giving too much away for those who have had a good start. An actual A+

2 weeks to tinker and make approx 1000 trades, how good.

Think I will probably make 6 trades over the fist 2 rounds back. Thankfully I only used 1 before lockdown.

First 4 to go are Fifita, Watkins, Williams, Levi and will bring in Grant, Watson, Magoulias, Moses

    Leaves me with this squad:

Friend (upgrade to McInnis round 4)
    Haas, Carrigan
    Lolo, Magoulias, Leilua
    Moses, Watson
    Shibasaki, Wiliame
    Kennedy, Drinkwater, Papy

    Luai, Brailey, Mann, Koro
    Grant, Katoa, Marshall-King, Walters

Obviously need Kennedy to get named to start and leaves me very short on CTR cover. But a nice place to start.

Moylan appears in the field session video the Sharks posted the other day.

I have Kennedy and its annoying to have to deal with him, but probably not so bad to get it sorted when we have the added trades.

Something wrong with your team balance if you have JMK and Grant in your NPRs.

With Roberts out, I'd like to see Goodwin get another run and see how he goes. I liked him as a player.

Fatima Kdouh from DT reporting that Toomaga is "firming" as Stimson's replacement on the edge.

330k could be a good pick up, seems to be a busy player.

    Quote from Reimus Smith:

“There are so many quality backrowers … Renouf has put his hand up, Raymond Faitala-Mariner has his hand up and there are a few others pushing hard from that spot,” Smith said.

“[Renouf] came back [looking] really good. He came back slim and lighter than what he left. He was excited when he came back but there was a spring in his step and there was something different about him. He wants that spot pretty hard
and he has been training really hard for it.”

Obvs pretty up in the air at this stage.

He would be a great option. With a few great cheap players available, almost tempted to try to hold onto Fifita, grab Renouf, Magoulias, Grant and look for one other to pop up like Leleisiao or Fidow.
