Broadcast deal has to be finalised Friday. Apparently they are trying to rejig the draw so the anti vaxer teams don't play in QLD. Canterbury & Tigers named as the other 2 clubs with anti vaxers

if Victoria introduces travel bans for anti-vaxxers too then every NSW team should claim a couple of them so they get to stay at home all the time

Also, aren't Gold Coast one of the anti-vaxxer teams - how are they going to avoid playing in Queensland

Manly and Titans were the other 2. Story this morning the Titans have given Cartright & Kelly a deadline to get the shot. Then I guess they get dropped and bring in 2 new players

cant imagine that is going down well with the other clubs.. though it is probably not true.

guess we will see soon enough.

there would be all sorts of reasons why they are trying to delay the draw as long as possible.

A sensible suggestion I heard was why not keep rounds 3-5 as is (grounds may differ) then rejig the rest to give that breathing space

Yeah think probably went too hard on midrange blokes and don't have the right balance in my backs. Will have to fix based on TLT

I wonder if Watkins would consider returning, if Kelly is out opening a roster spot.

Saw an article he signed somewhere in Super League. Pretty sure a close family member passed away which is why he returned home

With the NRL to restart on May 28, clubs still do not know who they will face in the first round back.

They were told as part of a 90-minute phone hook up with interim NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo on Tuesday afternoon that a decision is unlikely this week.

While the lack of crowds means that fans do not have to plan to attend matches, coaches are desperate to know what shape their season will take. The delay means whoever kicks off the relaunched season in the Thursday night game may have a week to prepare for their opposition. (DT)

I am a massive Goodwin fan mate always have been. He’s one game away from having played 100 with Souths. Bryson always gives his all out there especially with the shit work but he has lost some pace as to be expected. Still when needed I think he will not let us down at all.

I think this is likely to be Souths round 3 side:

    Latrell
    Gagai
    Campbell
    Burns
    AJ
    Cody
    Reyno
    Tatola
    Cook
    Tom
    Su’a
    Murray
    Knight

    Nicholls
    Lowe
    Sele
Mago/Goodwin (if Wayne wants to carry a back on the bench)

He would be a great option. With a few great cheap players available, almost tempted to try to hold onto Fifita, grab Renouf, Magoulias, Grant and look for one other to pop up like Leleisiao or Fidow.
Do we really think Magoulias will start though over Williams? I’m not sure if that’ll really happen.

If it doesn’t To’omaga would be a great option to have instead.

I’m on a main mission and that one mission is get Lolo in pronto at all costs like it has to happen for me......

Rule change coming that instead of penalties for ruck infringements, teams will get a 6 to go call instead, which is played immediately. https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/05/12/a-lot-faster-crafty-hookers-to-capitalise-on-rule-change/

Police will reportedly re-open their investigation into Nathan Cleary’s social distance breach after initially clearing the @PenrithPanthers half.

I reckon you’d have lost your left nut. Coaches don’t drop players they’ve earmarked all off-season because of one dodgy (fantasy) game early in the season. Plus Sorensen played ahead of Magoulias R2 and did fine.
