Key injuries and suspensions are Cleary (2 match suspension), Ponga (1 match suspension), D Fifita (3-4 week knee injury after surgery), Tevaga & LAM injured likely keeping Katoa & JTB in team

Would love to hear your take on the Fifita knee injury and if he is likely to come back strong, or need to ease into things?

I know it’s a while away from TLT but who would your four trade outs be from this lot?

At the moment I’m pretty sure Williams and Stimson are two of them and Walters on the brink.

    Koro
    Haas, Carrigan
    Leilua, Knight, Katoa
    JMK, Mann
    Aubbs, Shiba
    Ponga, Pappy, Drinkwater

    Levi, Brailey, Saifiti, Guler
    Luai, Williams, Stimson, Walters

Cheers Legend. Shame to waste a trade removing fifita! Ponga gets a week off for my team then. 4 trades is helpful

Could be the year of the mid ranger with the reduced trades effecting final 17s

Winner will make early quick cash, not wasting trades and getting to final 17 ASAP

You twist and turn on your menisci so it can definitely effect confidence with lateral movement. I haven't seen any info on the type of tear but based on him needing surgery, recovery time and them doing it mid season i'd imagine it was a flap tear (imagine something stuck in the hinge part of a door) where they need to stitch it back down or a decent transverse tear (imagine an earthquake in the middle) where they need to stitch the crack of sorts back together

If he was a fullback or winger doing lots of jumping and stepping it would slow his return and need some nursing but he should have a full recovery. Might make him run a touch straighter initially

This makes me unsure of buying Watson

The same guy that couldn't make the top 30 squad is now a chance at starting over Watson Air Quote O'Brien had spent plenty of time around Robinson and Bellamy, who always keep cards close to their chest. I expect big minutes(and points) from Watson

Thinking slightly outside the box here and looking at Guerra in the low 400's. Mitch Barnett out for an extended time. Might be a shout for 80 if he holds of Sione for back row role.

Some welcome news for the Warriors, with the injury to Jazz Tevaga not as bad as first thought. Whilst the specific nature of the injury is yet to be announced, he is only expected to only miss a few games

Great call. Can wait and see this week and get him next week, as he has a BE of 48.

Yea I’m planning on bringing teddy in. He is a POD weirdly to the top guys. No one in the top 20 has him (quite a few have Ponga). Couldn’t be arsed checking further but it’s probably true for the top 50 teams.
Yeah, but I reckon if you and BB are bringing him in then there's also a bunch of players in the top 50 about to do the same??

Tedesco is only $25k more than Ponga, so I don't think he is going to be the super POD some are hoping for.

I'll probably hold Ponga, given the limited trades, but we'll see how things go.

    I will probably trade
    Fifita - Drinkwater
    Watkins - Grant

Might look at bringing another CTR in (maybe for Walters) as will have no cover and have to play Wiliame with Watkins gone.

Probably holding Cleary and Ponga - but not 100% sure

Other than that just wait until team lists and see what pops up.

Will probably keep Stimson for a week or 2. Dogs play last in round 3 and round 4, so he is ideal for looping.

I really wanna get rid of Jack Williams via Magoulias or To’omaga but that’s probs wishful thinking so I’ll need to figure something else out.

Evening all. If Walker is out for 4 weeks is it expected Dargan goes to 5/8 or will Latrell move there as an excuse to get him out of FB?

I don’t reckon he will get 4 weeks, Cleary lied twice to the integrity unit and police and only got 2 weeks.

It isn’t ideal what happened and no way is violence the answer but there wasn’t much in it for mine. I reckon he gets a heavy fine and 2 weeks out.

We have the Rorters and Storm first up so your guess will be as good as mine as to what happens.

Definitely though those are the 2 options. Even if Dargan comes in I don’t see him doing any of the kicking at all, Reyno will do all that. Dargan would have a very simplified role if he comes in.

I also imagine Cookie will help Reyno with the playmaking.
