    Two nice acquisitions, though.

I was actually wondering about the POD comp. I also did this - brought in a guy with a name, but we both know he actually never existed. Do these guys who don't play but no one else has - do they have any impact on the POD comp?

    That's a great question.
Yes - assuming you're the only owner - you get a point for ownership, and potentially a point for unique ownership.
You wouldn't score a point for playing them, and obviously they couldn't win or lose points for their scoring.

In retrospect I think at this point of the competition you should only really get points for uniqueness if you play the player. Depending on if there's any objections or alternative suggestions, it could be a slight change for the last 4 rounds.

I think PODs only count in the comp if they play in your 17

EDIT: ignore this and go with the answer above hahaha

Haha both cash outs. Sa is only 260k and plays all 3 games but will be NPR in 2 weeks for me. Perenara doesn't play at all but is a half so gives me the option to trade out one next round using the generous looping rules.

Oh lol, my apologies. So Sa actually plays? I had no idea. And all three. I will be keeping a keen eye out for his scores. Hope he can at least earn you a couple of dollars.

Oh damn, so I would have got 2 points for this guy I brought in from the Cowboys? Opportunity lost. Sad

But yeah mate, completely up to you. It does seem a bit dodgy that I get 2 points for someone who will not play in 2006... but, of course, I'll take them if we decide to keep it that way. But completely happy for you to run it how you wish. Wink

I think they should play otherwise the pod is meaning less, you only get them to score more points than someone everyone has

Haha I don't care about the money at this point. Just needed a cash who would play week 3 to at least get me a few points rather than 0. This let me do the trades I wanted.

Oh dear, mate. I assume you applied my "hope for the best" tactics and didn't look at the team lists? I hadn't either and just hope my team is okay. But I've just started watching the game tonight - JT gone in the first four minutes. Just checked the team lists at the start of this thread now and he misses the next two matches too. affraid

I traded Thurston for Lockyer, who scored on the back of JT's injury. Something going right for me for once! Look forward to several scores in the teens for the rest of my team haha.
