JTB, Wiliame, Walters, 228k (gonna be fogarty once he gets added)

    60k ITB

Trades: Williams to Grant, Fifita to DCE, Kennedy to Fogarty, Levi to Teddy

Thoughts on the team? Only problem I see is the bench but it should be able to hold up (btw I play h2h not really worried about overall rank)
I like it mate great move it’ll be to bring Teddy in.

Still if I’m being honest I think your bench is a little bit light on. Like if you had someone like Carrigan on your bench and say Rudolf as 18th man it’ll look much better.

If Aubbo is benched I also have the option of pulling the trigger and bringing Teddy in.

I don’t reckon Frizell will keep getting 80mins though. I think they’ll give him a breather like they did last season.

I just realised if I was to bring Grant and Fogarty in for Williams and Watkins yes I have to play Wiliame at centre but that’ll have to do as it allows me to do Fifita to Taumalolo and then Knight to Taupau. Reason I’d pick Taupau over Twal is Marty is a proven keeper whilst Twal probs isn’t quite a keeper.

If Aubbo is named on the interchange then I’ll have to change tact and use a trade on Aubbo to Tommy T and just move Shiba to centre.

I’m really hoping Aubbo still gets 80mins and that Crichton goes back into the bench middle role.

Not sure why Knight is a priority trade out. Scoring more points in more minutes than last year. He is well down my trade out list

I’ve just found out like 2mins ago that Hame Sele has a minor hammy strain and will be out a few weeks.

Mago will be ready back from his pec injury but tbh I don’t know if he will be fit enough to last more than about 25mins our there as he will be so gassed.

If Souths go with just 3 forwards on the bench you’d say it’d mean a few more minutes for one of our forwards. Thing is though in round 1 those 53mins went to Tatola and not Knight. Then the week after Junior only played 34mins.

Knight has been hovering around 40mins but may be worth holding one more week just to see what happens. Thing is I don’t want to hold a mid ranger to long who isn’t making any money.

What do you reckon will happen with Knights minutes? Also have you got Knight?

Just got 43mins against the Broncos. I was disappointed in his 33.

Sele has played 33 and 38min stints though.

I can’t see Mago lasting that long as I said so possibly it may be good for Knight.

I guess all it takes is a HIA or injury in our pack and then Wayne would have to play a couple of forwards for longer.

I hope Wayne goes with Goodwin somewhere in the 17 as it’ll be his 100th game for us.

I reckon Knight continues to play around 50 mins but I dont really know.. I thought pre season hed get more, but Murray switching positions confused things so i stayed away. If I had him Id give him at least 1 more week. I usually hold a player longer than others do, not always for the best

Knight has never been a big minute forward. We brought him in hoping he would get Surgess / Murray minutes, but he clearly isn't going to get them.

    Ok I’m jealous I won’t lie.

We could do with another back rower, we are one short.

    I don’t reckon you guys need Te’o.

    Do you have him Matt?

Do you reckon I should punt him? Or give him one more week?

Had him and traded him (and Levi) out after round 1 to get Cleary in instead.

He is one of the guys that I used group wisdom to pick, rather than my own convictions that he was the right pick. He is scoring what he is priced at and not getting the minutes that you need to increase scoring significantly. Depends on the rest of the team how urgent he is, but would be on my trade out list for this week or next.

I’ll decide what’s best come next Tuesday night I guess. One of those 50/50 ones.

In other news rumour off a Souths forum is Cody is going to get a 1 match ban and that Dargan is likely to be given the nod to debut in the 6 jersey.

Do we expect Valentine Holmes to be the goal kicker for Cowboys going forward? Feldt kicked 2/4 in round 1, Holmes kicked 4/5 in round 2.

Looking at him as a potential keeper level WFB trade in, as can't quite afford Turbo.

Damn the thread has blown up today - I thought a player must have done some bad shit.

Just Macca to Knights and Fogarty a thing by the looks of it.

I started with him expecting similar points and minutes to what he was getting as a starter back end of last year
He was averaging 45 points in 48 minutes from a sample size of 7 games. Plenty of points to make cash and be playable in your 17. People expecting 60 minutes from him had unrealistic expectations

Just picked up DCE. Now I have DCE and Moses in the halves - wanted to go with Cleary but can't wait the 2 weeks. Do we reckon he can keep up these good scores? Reason i bought him is that his defence is solid and he has a great kicking game and partnered by a non-dominant 5/8 in Walker. Is he a solid buy or should I look at someone else?
