@MTVB I hope you don't get your NRL data from Stat Edge, they just got shut down in an NRL investigation into betting irregularities https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/nrl-shuts-out-data-partner-as-dally-m-betting-probe-heats-up-20200525-p54w84.html

Wasn't there a report out of training with Mitchell at centre and Johnston at fullback?

Yeo is only good value if getting 80 mins at lock. Capewell playing should mean he doesn't get that.

Yeo was already moved away from lock in round 2.

And Capewell is an edge player - surely if anyone is a threat to Yeo at lock its James Fisher-Harris (the guy who started at lock the last time Penrith played)

I think there are big doubt over Yeo being a big minte lock, but I don't see how Capewell fits in. Especially the difference between Capewell and whoevers spot he takes in the 17

He's like a poor man's David Fifita with some boom/bust scoring. 2 tries in 2 rounds so far which is not sustainable so he'll fall at some point. Don't think he is a guaranteed trade in, but priced at 38 I think there is clear value there
He will however outscore DaFita comfortably for the next 5-6 rounds. Sometimes it’s good to be poor.

Formal update from Broncos re Fifita & Lodge
    https://www.broncos.com.au/news/2020/05/26/injury-update-fifita-out-of-brace-lodge-looks-good/

Lodge - Broncos coach Anthony Seibold said: “Matt Lodge is the one that most people would be interested in and we feel Lodgey is a good chance of playing on Thursday night. “He trained well last week, was in full training on Sunday, we’ve got another session (today) and we’ll make a decision then but in likelihood Lodgey will be on the bench.

Fifita: “With longer term injuries like David Fifita, he’s going to get out of his leg brace (today) and then it’s just a rehab process. “So however long that takes it takes, we’re not real certain, we believe it could be five or six weeks from when he gets the brace off but we’ll be very cautious with David.

So if DaFita is out for let’s say another 5 weeks then Hopoate looks an even better pick up as he will at least be on the bench when TPJ returns. Kerr to Hopoate locked in.

Last I’ve heard is Latrell is training at fullback and hasn’t moved. Dargan is training in the 6.

Matt Lodge looks set to make a stunning return from a serious injury with coach Anthony Seibold to name the prop just two months after he suffered a partial ACL tear. “We will name him in the No.21 this afternoon but if he gets through training today he will be in the 17,” Seibold said on Tuesday.

Trades are straight forward for me. Fifi - lolo and Williams - grant.. possibly musgrove - Fogarty or best if I feel like throwing one away.

    I can do:
Fifita, Williams, Stimson and Kennedy > Tolo, Horse, Grant and Fogarty with 1k to spare.

    That is mighty tempting!

Anyone got a problem with these trades?

DFifita - Matterson (could choose Yeo or Twal but not as safe)
    J Williams - T Flegler
L Knight - Drinkwater (need flb cover (Kennedy on the outer) and Cowboys draw is good and without Morgan for a month)
Musgrove - EKatoa (only because I need to generate faster cash)

The last 3 trades could either be very sideways or cash making masterstrokes. Only Leaves $71K in the bank for week 4 and this team.

    Api
    Hass, Carrigan
    Lolo, Matterson, Horsburgh
    Moses, Mann
    Aubusson, Fuimaono/Williame
    Papenhuyzen, Drinkwater, Kennedy/Williame

    LLeilua, Grant, Flegler, ?

    Katoa, Guler, JTB, Rudolph, Kennedy/Williame/Fuimaono

Feel pretty set in the forwards for now but not so happy with centre and fullbacks. Cleary a target in 2 weeks time, and just need 2 of Williame, Fuimaono and Kennedy to hold there spots which probably won't happen.

With Matt Lodge back what are people expecting from Flegler?

Cash? Playable points? both? And for how many weeks.

Ofa back too, even off the bench Ofa averages around 40 minutes. After this week dont see many minutes available for Lodge, especially if Haas for 80 is an ongoing plan, not many minutes left.

I'm currently thinking almost exactly the same, only difference is Walters out instead of Kennedy, as I would be $8k short with Kennedy. Covers the two main needs of Tolo and Grant, Hors seems a nice addition and Fogarty is the best cheapie option

I've pretty much got three trades locked in (pending TLT). My 4th trade if used could be:

    Musgrove to Lucy (or Isaako)
    Walters to Turbo
    Levi to DCE or Tedesco

Isaako would make a great captaincy option...
