Going forward is it possible to run with Aubbs and Capewell as CTRs with Shiba as backup? Or is it too risky?

Same problem and same solution for me

    Koro
    Carigan, haas
    Leluia, Tolo, tapine
    Moses, Walters
    Bj, shibaski
    Turbo, pappy, williame

    Williams, horse, katoa, brailey

    Grant, JTB, keppie, rudolf.

You need a halves upgrade, how much cash? Maybe get Drinkwater in for Williams?

That would be a stronger combination than other teams I have seen. I am relying on Wiliame with Crichton as back up.

Thanks mate, yeah I had looked at that. Was thinking exactly that trade. Was tossing up just getting the price rise out of Walters and giving him Williams another go. But you’re probably right.

What do you think the risky part is?

Not scoring well or not keeping their role.

Aubbuson has started 2RF when fit since mid last year.
Capewell was reportedly training on the edge all pre season but got injured.

I'll probably trade Capewell in to run both. If one of them flops I'll trade to Mitchell, or whichever gun CTR has dropped enough cash to be good value.

Maybe looking at freeing up money to bring Haas in sooner rather than later, given no Origin impact

Could do it in 4 trades with Friend, Fifita, Walters, Knight but may be better off waiting until next week with Ponga and possibly Aubo returning

I had a similar thought but ignored it thinking now is the time for cash generation but haas is probably a special case

You’re right re friend. The situation with him and verrills means he probably has to go relatively soon

If Kennedy and Walters both play this weekend it probably makes sense just to bide my time on them? Struggling to see whether to move them for JTB and grant or not. Grant would likely go into my bench as a scoring player this week

My gut trades initially were fifita to turbo as I need a WFB or centre option as I’m down KP and aubo. Then was gonna do Walters to grant and Kennedy to horse

Not sure if I’m just making trades for the sake of it though or being on the front foot to stay in a good position so need some wisdom. Thanks for yours!

How would Yeo's scoring change with him at lock?

    Planning on
    DFifita > lolo
    Knight > Yeo
    Watkins > Capewell
    Williams > Grant

    Leaves me with
    Friend
    Carrigan Haas
    Lolo Yeo leilua
    Moses Luai
    Capewell Wiliame
    Drinky Paps Shiba

Koro Levi Katoa Grant // Rudolf JTB Walters Aubo(will slot back in hopefully)

He's been pretty much playing in the middle anyway mate, might even play 80 switching to an edge to spell Kikau or Capewell

Staggs isn't a keeper, his floor is very low. Shiba isn't a keeper but he'll get you 30 points for not much cash, and you can use the money elsewhere.

If anyone trades in Staggs then they are trading him in as a keeper.

Cheers. I am contemplating friend to Yeo and cleary to flegler in the hope that they both make around 50k, making upgrading next week a bit better value with a few guns dropping in price after round 3.

The good thing with Crichton on the bench is if an outside back goes off Capewell shouldn't have to move to ctr

    I think I'll stick with;

    Fifita - Tolo
    Williams - Drinkwater
    Watkins - Foghorn/JTB?

Could maybe toss Knight for Horse too.

You still have Williams listed in your team mate.

Does anyone think A Fifita is likely to get back to his barnstorming best?

I was just thinking yesterday if he's used these 2 months to rest his knee even more. I just don't think he'll get the minutes though necessary to make him relevant. He's not the big minute forward Flanagan used him for.
