Tetevano and Leota don't eat up a lot of game time. Bit of a question around how Liam Martin is used now Capewell is back, but he plays a fair bit of 2nd row, so I think he may cover Kikau.

Has the feeling of the type of trade you'll be saying (if you didn't trade him in) why tf didn't I just trade him in.

You could move shiba to your centres, trade Watkins and Walters for Fogarty and the best WFB you can afford. Quick calc says someone around the price of Hughes. It’s another option.

I just don't know if I can go Capewell after last season & his missed tackles. They aren't missed tackles in the traditional sense but when he lets go of the attacker before the tackle is completed it's a fantasy missed tackle.....it's like when you try to get back with an old girlfriend. In the end the same issues are there & it's why the relationship failed in the first place. You keep telling yourself it's going to be different this time but you're just lying to yourself. JTB v Hopoate
    - JTB will make 80k~ with an average of 30 over the next three rounds. Starting spot isn't secure, could easily lose to Blair when Tevaga is back or when Kearney inevitably reshuffles the whole team. Hasn't shown a lot of promise to be a solid starting front rower. But he is a starter at 281k
    - Hopoate will likely get 80min in 2rf for the next few weeks. An average off 35-40 will net him 120-150k over the next three rounds. Once he goes back to the bench and hits a low 20s he'll be a slow burn
    - Both pretty much short term cash cows

    Flegler v Horse
    - Flegler comes in cheaper at 476k compared to Horse at 539k. An average of 40-45 over the next three rounds will get Flegler 110-130k. When players come back, his minutes may reduce, and last year's points with 30 minutes aren't great. Although he is in good form at the moment.
    - Horse comes with DPP and a very good PPM. An average of 45-50 will get him 75-100k over three weeks as he's looking good to nab a starting jersey whether at lock or prop. With Horse, he's more likely to be season keeper compared to Flegler, and looks overall better on the field - Flegler may have had his best ever game against Souths which I can't see happening on a consistent basis, or ever again really

I think you’ve answered both of these.

Your case for neither of column A looks very convincing.
Your case for Horse is even more so - nearly has me taking him too.

Plenty of options mate. You said Knight may only get 40 minutes. If so, he may even drop cash. Why keep?
One option: Ship him for JHoppa by way of Carrigan and Watkins up to a gun WFB or CTR that you like.

His missed tackles are already built into his price, its not like they are going to get double subtracted.

Also built into his price are a bunch of low minute interchange games, which is why he is so tempting (if you think he'll hold down a starting spot)

    I have a conundrum...

Would it be wise to hold off on Williams --> Turbo and play both Williams and Wiliame instead. The main kicker is all the cash I can use next week to get Cleary possibly (Already have Moses, Haas, Lolo)

Thumbs up: Williams + Wiliame (308k ITB, next week it would be Williams + Shiba instead, Wiliame ctr/wfb cover)

Thumbs down: Turbo + Rudolf (131k ITB, next week Shiba would be NPR and my ctr/wfb cover)

My worry with Jamil is it’s too short term and Bullemor or whatever he’s called is on the bench.

I'm tempted to trade to trade in Twal instead of Matterson, but a couple of concerns. In round one he played 53 minutes but made a very uncharacteristic line break and 3 TBs arguably inflating his score a bit. And then in round 2 it seems he played the whole first half when Mikaele came off for a HIA five minutes after he came on, arguably inflating his game time.

I'm concerned he remains a low to mid 50's kinda guy (although priced at 50.5 not too shabby). Looking at the Tigers' bench and pack though, you would think he's up for some big minutes (and at 1ppm = big points) Thoughts?

Capewell career average of 38 when starting at 2nd row. This includes his dud games and the games he regularly shifted to outside backs.

For 434k, if you need a centre, I don't even see an issue. If anything, his scoring probably improves a little.

Hopoate when he goes back to bench for 20's should get one more small price rise before falling. He won't be a slow burn, but a priority sell, meaning if you buy him for round 3, you need to have a plan to sell him before round 7. That said, I prefer him slightly over JTB.
