    So many tempting prospects otherwise. Hopoate playing 80 for a few weeks. Twal at lock with that bench etc

    If you can get Taumalolo without tearing apart team, absolutely do it, he's not going to get any cheaper

    I reckon that 70 min gametime will be a norm, given the experience they lost from 2019 (Scott, Bolton)

    Kinda stuck on Williams.

    Keep?
    Trade up to a Horsburgh?
    Trade down to a Hopoate?

    Are you sure on Luai trade in? I would just bring in Fogarty instead if you need a half this week and save $80k for likely similar scoring.

    Welcome back lads! Time to get stuck back in. TLT was very kind to me, only Aubbs, Dfifi, and Stimson out for mine.

    So far I have:

    Dfifi --> Twal/Yeo/Matto
    Stimson --> Grant
    Levi --> Capewell
    Williams --> Turbo

    I don't have the time to go back into previous threads, but jesus christ Twal looks set for a big few rounds looking at that tigers bench! Do you fellas think there's any benefit in saving a bit of coin by going with someone like Yeo instead of Twal or Matto? So far I think Matto has the nod for me just because I like him as a player and we know what he's capable of when he gets the ball on the edge 10 metres out

    I fucked him off, he's gone in a couple weeks regardless so no point hanging onto him for the sake of it if you can get a better player. I had enough ITB to go Williams to Tommy turbo which was a no brainer, saving me having to play williame

    My 4 trades so far are:
    Knight, Watkins, D. Fifita, Aubusson out
    H. Grant, Isaako, Twal, Yeo in

    Buying Isaako instead of Turbo will create the cash to re-buy Aubusson next week - sell Walters.

    Koroisau
    Haas, Twal
    Taumalolo (c), Yeo, L. Leilua
    Moses, Mann
    Shibasaki, Wiliame
    Pappy, Isaako, Drinkwater

    B. Brailey, H. Grant, Carrigan, Luai
    E. Katoa, Rudolf, JTB, Walters

    Who would you play as last reserve - Luai, E. Katoa or Rudolf

    Cheers.

    I don't need a half. He scores really well without Cleary

    I could just sell Williams Stimson Fifita for Grant Capewell Lolo them I'm covered this week

    Is Grant the best cheapie? How many minutes with Walters on bench?

    Luai without Cleary was my first trade pick since over a week ago and now probably going without

    You can't be seriously burning 2 trades to sell Aubbo and buy back next week. That's nuts

    Not sold on Isaako's job security mate. Was listening to an interview with Seibold on MMM Brisbane last night and he essentially said he is rewarding Isaako because he was a top 3 player for the first 2 rounds but but spot is by no means secure with the gun young bloke coming through (cannot remember his name).

    I went with Katoa for my team.

    Why are trades so hard to decide on this week. I am so torn on Williams, I can't help but think he is a dud. Loves a missed tackle, lacks intensity in offence, also looks like he is one high tackle away from a brain fart as well. My gut is telling me to sell. I am thinking of going with my gut for the rest of the year.

    This is the cheapest you will be able to get Grant all year

    He has the best money making prospects out of all cheapies

    I guess the question is whether he is a season keeper or whether you'll have to upgrade him later.

    Grant will be in the discussion for origin selection by the end of the season, I have no doubts about it.

    Agreed, he is one of the best young hookers I've seen in a long time

    The only hookers I would definitely take above him on current skills are Cameron Smith, Damien Cook, Cameron McInnes, Api Koroisau, Jake Friend, Brandon Smith and Josh Hodgson

    Has the skills to be future Australian hooker

    What's the deal with Walters? I'd like if he dropped out of 17 and then I'd give up on cash potential and trade him to Luai

    Wiliame Aubbo
    Shiba Pap Drinky

    Grant Brailey Katoa JTB
    Rudolf Walters Watkins Cleary

    Would you guys simply do a Watkins to Capewell trade?

    Or could I make a bigger move like potentially a Watkins to Fogarty trade for a then Aubbo to Teddy trade?

    My brain is wired differently to normal people. The way I look at it:
    (1) My team is pretty much set up & I won't be using many future trades so wasting a trade is ok
    (2) I'd rather have Yeo & Aubs vs Aubs & Walters. If I kept Aubs & got Yeo (b/e 14) next week then I would have to use 2 trades due to his price increase whereas getting Aubs next week by selling Walters will only need 1 trade so over rounds 3 & 4 I'm using the same amount of trades taking Aubs out & then re-buying.

    Man you'd be silly to trade Aubbo even if he's out for 2 rounds. If it were my team I would definitely get Capewell because you don't have any CTR/WFB cover at the moment and are forced to play Wiliame and Shiba regardless
