O’Brien is the idiot who should’ve just named Best at centre if he’s actually gonna end up playing him! I’ll be spewing if Best plays as that is who I wanted for Watkins.

If Capewell just ends up getting 50-55mins due to Martin on the bench and Yeo playing 80mins Milchy will be the first to hear about it off me lol!

Footy is back & Mrs made plans for the long weekend here in NZ. If anyone is a late out, it will be a sulky drive back home.

Then I’m playing with 16 lol. If I do that my ranking will plummet and fast!sajjos wrote:

Look at this way, would be annoyed with missing out on his 35 or a buying him and gets you only 25?Rabbits21 wrote:

The thought that first comes to mind is the answer. Looks like I freed up your day to do more constructive things

I know you're joking, but if that actually happens, however unlikely, you will be universally panned for blaming someone else for your own decisions, especially someone who gives so much of their own time and effort for the benefit of others.

I’m only kidding lol. I know so much of the time starting second rowers play massive minutes but still in some cases they don’t.Mulvy wrote:

I’m trying to play around with trade combos now but the stupid fantasy site when I go to do a trade keeps freezing on me......

I’m working on other ways now too to not have to. There has to be a way I can do something else without having to just play 16.wolfking wrote:

If you have the spare trade to use and the cash, why not?
Well its not a 'spare' trade. It would be instead of bringing in Fogarty, or a gun forward.
But on the plus side it would give me 5/7 final 17 players in my backline (Cleary, Aubbs, Capewell, Ponga, Turbo - with Papy and Drinkwater as the other 2 awaiting upgrades to Teddy and ??) allowing me to spend my trades getting the forwards right.
I wasted a bit by having to bring Drinkwater in this week, sort of stuffed up not having him in already, but have to rectify that first.

I think I’ve cracked it lads. It involves pissing off Walters a bit earlier than I’d like but so be it! I can avoid Capewell this way and get a keeper in at WFB by shifting Shiba back to centre.
4 trades are:
Knight to Grant
Fifita to Taumalolo
Walters to Fogarty
Watkins to Tommy T
I have 64k spare and this:
Koro
Haas Carrigan
Williams Taumalolo Lucy
Moses Luai
Shiba Wiliame
Tommy T Pap Drinky
Brailey Grant Katoa JTB
Rudolf Fogarty Aubbo Cleary
Thoughts guys?

I got Drinkwater in this week too mate. Feels like a trade that's just that, rectifying an error and feels a bit sideways, but I think he'll be close to a must have and borderline keeper if injuries hit elsewhere.

Usual last day knot tying going on around Aardvark Manor.
Thinking of ditching Williams for either Capewell or Horse. Horse probs scores more in the short term but Capewell allows me more flexibility in the long term (both probs make about the same $ from here)
Team after two trades
Api
Haas Cardigan
Matto Lolo Lucy
Moses Mann
Shiba Wiliame
Papy Drink Lomax
Brailey Grant Williams Katoa
Musgrave Walters Aubs Rudolf
Fully aware that Musgrave needs to go but not fussed on this week or next as haven't worked out a satisfactory plan for him yet
Capewell allows me to use him and Aubs as CTR next week and when Walters needs to go I can shift DrinkWater to HLF and leave Mann on the bench as cover
What do youse reckon eh? Horse up and Capewell down

Who would you rate as the best ball runners close to the line to score tries? With the new rules that allow running at the line in high tackle number sets, I can see them being big winners with the new rules. Hess is one that springs to mind, Staggs is another who has shown in rounds 1 and 2 he can capitalize with the ball in hand close to the line. Who are others that may be worthwhile PODs to bring in?
