Game has just moved away from those plodding types like Alvaro and Tolman. He will give you 40 tackles and none of them will win a ruck. He will give you 100 metres from 14 carries and not one quick play the ball. Coaches want high intensity and impact rather than slow and safe

I always though Alvaro has tonnes of energy in defence though. Making 3-4 tackles every set without missing any is a skill that simply cannot go out of fashion!

Just ask Shaun Fensom! (Oh wait....)

Hard guague on Moses. BA saying could be 2, 3, 4 weeks but not as bad as they first thought.

This doesn’t bode well as someone planning to hold him. Hmmm might move on DCE or Cleary but probably dce with the discount

45 BE sounds a lot better than 49... 812K who do you take?

Great post Booze. It reminds me of principles used when playing an engine builder boardgame.

exactly right Chewie. The big decision in a lot of games is when to switch from generating cash to generating points. Normally in Fantasy its the end of origin to make the switch.
I think this year now is the time (or maybe over the next month) Few guns hopefully about to return from injury cheap. Cashies maturing, make the switches soon and then sit back and watch your engine run

Surely it's Taupau and save a trade later on?

Not sure if I should hold Twal or not?

Can do any of these options:

Twal, JMK, Kennedy, Katoa > Cleary, Teddy, Sironen, Niu

Lucy, JMK, Kennedy, Katoa > DCE, Ponga, Sironen, Niu

JMK, Katoa, Kennedy > Cleary, Sironen, Young

    JMK, Katoa > Cleary, Niu

If I don't get teddy or ponga I have to play hammer time somewhere in my 17 which is probably no bueno.

Just thought I'd shamelessly BUMP this. Feels like it could really make or break my season.

Jeez, that's a nice run. I think I will just get him now so I don't have to worry later. Will be easier getting Marty in the next week or two than Ted.

He will be around for longer than 3 weeks. I expect him in my team for at least 6-8 weeks, which he will by that time make roughly 140K with a 45 average. He looks to be a 40-45 base type of player with the upside of potential attacking stats.

Fair play, 6-8 weeks doesn't leave much time left in the season though. Grabbing Young over Robson who I have pencilled makes Teddy/Kapow/Matto all more achievable moving foward, but I feel the potential at a keeper for 600k is better the better option right now.

Na can't unfortunately, had absolutely no money ITB. I know it's been spoken about to death, but are we really sure that Young is going to make that much more cash than Sironen? Not all that keen on trading in blokes I'm going to dump in a month.

No love for Reuben Garrick as a 400k goal kicking fullback set for a good 9 weeks in that position?
Price too awkward? Too much of an unknown (never played at FB at NRL level)? Or everyone just has their WFB sorted by this point in the season?

Just caught up on the last 5 or so pages since this morning. It takes a bit longer since I can't read and my 8 year old has to read it out loud for me.

I think I'm settled on trades with the plan to bring RTS in for Katoa next week.

Horsey, JMK, Paix and Kennedy out for Ponga, Young, Talua and Sironen.

Can anyone tell me if any of my players will get injured or suspended this weekend?

    Thanks in advance.

I know Rabbits seems to know a little about the Bunnies but are we absolutely sure Sironen somehow jumps from 17 minutes a game to 35?
