Would leave my team almost done, only missing Teddy, but with no quick way to get the cash... So alternatively, I can grab Robson this week, next week cash out Best and turn Mitchell/Pappy into Teddy and run Talau at centre for the year. Would leave me needing to upgrade Lucy and JTB for a final team. It's awkward but seems far worse to not have a plan to get Teddy in asap.
I think I'd look at Teddy option. As heaps have stated before it's basically Teddy, Ponga & then daylight in WFB whereas there is fair bit of value in 2RF of 55-point scorers around 100k cheaper than Matterson

Interested to hear peoples thoughts.
Grant
Twal Mofo
Crichton (C) Tevaga Fifita
Cleary Flanagan
SMat Crichton
Teddy Ponga Wiliame (loop)
Koro Yeo Robson Liu
Dearden HTF Niu Sironen
Gives me a great POD forward pack, strong halves, decent backs, great bench with some cover for each position.
There are a lot of injury-prone players and you'll have used up your trades to get them.
You have none of the likely top four scoring players in fantasy.
At least one of the players in your loop is likely to be a red dot himself, and the other isn't assigned that position yet.
One of your centres is trash.
Liu is not a first 17 player.
Dearden is entirely unproven, job security and scoring-wise.
Your starting halves are OK.
It looks like a mid-season team with four or five spots needing upgrades rather than a finished team.

All I care about is points each week, if I can average 1050 I think I am in the hunt. Everyone will have some poor scorers / gaps in their team. The key is to get the best value.rhinoceroo wrote:

Fine, do it your way.. A final team including Liu, Crichton and HTF isn't averaging 1050.

Yeah Teddy is a fantasy marvel, he seems to get at least 1 TB per run, or an offload. side-stepping hand-slapping runs.
Pappy wasn't bad, he tries to run straight at the line hoping to go through the gaps and 9 out of 10 times he gets tackled, he was so close to a line break a few times.
Teddy on the other hand has the lateral movement, moving along the line of defense looking for a gap batting away defenders in the process

All good, it's actually not a straight forward l**p.
I've got Averillo as my red dot in the 17 with Latrell and Fui on the bench. And Herbie is in my WFB at the moment.
If Fui goes well, I'll swap Latrell with Herbie so I get Fui's score for Averillo. If Fui scores rubbish I'll leave things as is so I get Latrell's score
Yeah nice.

HTF, Niu, Crichton, Best.
If you had to play three, who do you leave out?

If you didn't own him for fixtures in a few weeks (Titans, Warriors, Dragons consecutively), you'd need a big lounge from Harvey Norman to hide behind

Well you're gonna have to leave out HTF cause it looks like he will drop out of the 17

This is so annoying as an owner and a supporter. He gets the ball and just hopes his speed will get him through the line. It happened a few times last year but he just hasn’t been able to do it so far this year. I think he needs to get a bit of a fend on him or a big step, or maybe try a bit of running sideways and finding a hole somewhere.

I would leave HTF out.. not just cause he may be a late out but I'd have more faith in the other three
