James Roberts averaged 39 at centre last year (ignoring 5 minute injury game)

I think I'd rather him over Dugan - especially if you are looking to stop trading out injured centres

Norman already pretty much locked in. Just seeing if I could sneak someone else in there. Will wait till next week 😊

Arrow – Cheap as chips. Hopefully his minutes pick up. Been underwhelming this year but proven gun.

Both are super cheap as well. I know Dugan has history of injuries but only missed 5 games in the last two years.

Tauk and Robson last night (obv too late for both). MoFo. DBrown for the next 3 weeks. Pearce. Wait a week, maybe BHunt depending on minutes. Taupau. RFM. Then start getting into punts - like Dufty, RTS - or CTRs who shouldn't count as guns.

I don't think too many players above 700k are undervalued because the MN is so much lower now than the start of the season. Some are correctly priced, some are overpriced, and some are going to give you FOMO at any price.

EDIT: Ponga will be seriously undervalued in 1-2 weeks. Of course I got him at his peak price because I'm an idiot.

Sorry to keep posting about the Broncos, but holy shit. What has the coach wanted previously that they are only now going to start playing the way that suits Milford???? This is also the kind of style I wanted when I suggested earlier in the week (or last week) that they should put Milford to 7

Glenn - "Milly’s strength is when his hands are on the ball and we wanted Milly to play how he wanted to play.

"If he wants to play up in front of the forwards with ball in hand, then give him the ball. In 2015 it was his best year and all he did was let Hunty [Ben Hunt] do his thing and play eyes-up footy.

"I know what brings out the best in him and that is not to dictate how he plays his footy but to let the leash off and let him go. That is what we wanted to do this week."

Did Siebs want him to be Adam Reynolds??!

Anyway, feeling good about my Broncos tip this week. The players should bounce back for one win before they learn you can't coach yourselves. A few hammerings later, Seibs is gone. To be replace by a legendary Broncos coach on a rescue mission. That's right, Ivan Henjak.

Similar to what I said earlier. His best year was when they had an actual HB in their team, they struggled with Niko and with Benji because they are both runners and not big game controllers. Croft should be controlling the game to let Milford do the running. As I said, not sure if just a fluff piece by Glenn but seems odd they have had a "leash" on someone they're paying multi-millions for and is one of their centerpieces in attack.

Totally random post after seeing some comments re Isaako a few pages back on his 3 chances at fullback.

Last October I went to the nines live - one of the broncos made a break from about their own quarter. Isaako gave chase in support - but the line he ran was the most stupid line I ever saw. It was like he was a little kid chasing after his older brother following his exact footsteps. He had no idea of positioning himself for the pass allowing for the single defender they had ahead. It was truly baffling. What should have been a simple pass for an Isaako try was blown . I remember thinking that either a) this kid has got no idea or b) he's having a laugh.

I concluded at the time that while he might be a great runner with ball in hand , he did not (yet) have the footy nous to compliment it and therefore would be unlikely to make it at fullback in today's game.

I'm not meaning to have a go at him - all these blokes have skills and courage that I don't have. Just musing over the broad range of skills you need to succeed playing in certain positions.

I have heard that Paul White and Seibs are very close to being gone. My Mrs dad is pretty close to Paul White and he isn't very confident in his job. Apparently before the end of the year Seibold will be gone and Kevvy Walters will be at the helm.

My Mrs dad is very keen on shares in the Broncos at the moment. Trading at 41 cents at the moment and he is keen to get on with this information.

Bearing in mind that actual halfback is now playing hooker because he's apparently not a halfback.

TU: Paix to Niu (Paix probably never starting again and only shit shit minutes off the bench)
TD: Talau to Niu (more cash, but Talau more likely to play on return)

Doing Paix at the moment just because Talau has a jersey secure once he's back from a 'minor' strain

TBH: I think 2015 absolutely shattered his confidence. The threats and vile attacks he would've and still his getting. Every time he drops the ball it gets resurfaced. Playing at hooker the goggles aren't solely on him anymore and his job is to tackle and pass and that's it. I think he is a great HB on his day but after leaving the Broncos the Dragons went to shit and being the million dollar man it all fell on his shoulders. Then he absolutely stunk it up in a QLD jersey and was scrutinised even more. The bloke has been through the ringer in the last 5 years

You could see that at half he has too much time to think and he'd end up being so unsure of himself that he'd stuff up the play.

I don't think he ever really recovered from it.

Agree at hooker he just plays what he see's without over complicating it.

Yeah I agree. IMO he's still an above average NRL HB, it's not his fault he gets paid like an outstanding one. But the new combos appear to be working and he's not a bad hooker either.
