With recruiting, because the broncos have such great access to young talent coming through, I feel they are almost overwhelmed with options to choose from and have suffered from trying to retain everyone which was a catalyst for the downward spiral.

Great article from 2018 explaining how the Broncos are fundamentally fucked and it was a matter of time. Now it's actually happened. They have scholarships to something like 400 prospective young footy players. Compare that to the Raiders who have around 30. The Raiders can actually train these 30 young blokes (Papalii and a couple others were poached from Logan or something) and integrate them within the 1st and 2nd grade trainings to develop their skills. Compare that with the 400 or so Broncos "up and comers" who don't get any opportunity to really be comprehensibly tested and developed. Factor in a nearly new rosters completely made up of these blokes and this is what you get.

The good thing is that they're going to completely tear it down. This one journo reckons this issue is why they've been hovering around 8th or whatever for a while now. Fundamental issues that aren't resulting in terrible consequences so they never come to light. Now they can completely restructure the club and address these issues, and in 5 years be a really good team.

He will do anything to avoid contact. Why is he playing.

The slip on Butchers try and lack of effort was bad enough but the purposeful fumble to force a drop out to avoid being tackled not to mention he literally ran away from Morris on his second try when he cut back inside he just kept running to the sideline to avoid having to make a tackle.

His lack if effort has set in with the rest of the side and the fact he keeps getting pick just makes the rest of the players realise that we accept mediocrity now.

I can't wait for this year to be over from a Bronco point of view.

Hunt owners got out of jail with his 52. Could have easily played 60 minutes for 35 points if not for Brittain HIA. Something to watch going forward

How accurate is the price predictor on MTBs site?

After Butchers effort last night I have the exact amount of cash to go Tolo to Twal this week and Butcher to Haas next week according to the price predictor.

I'm guessing it's not exact though and I should probably play it safe and get Taupau instead of Twal to make sure I can grab Haas in 1 trade next week.
