I don’t think we could’ve asked for anymore effort from our boys they were absolutely exhausted. We played so busted they couldn’t give anymore.

Murray like what a freak what a player what a performance what cant he do........ he was bloody buggered couldn’t even walk properly after the game.

We stayed behind at full time to thank the boys for a great season and an effort tonight full of courage and guts. We even were chanting South Sydney as they came over as well.

My voice is gone but that will come back.

Penrith deserved to go through they were the better side but we pushed them all the way.



With the refs having put the whistle away and not giving any six agains this suits the Storm to a tee and I think they’ll be winning next week.

Cracker of a game that. Didn't watch the 2nd half of the Storm game, onya Ricky, but Souths having a dig kept me glued to last night's game.

Perfect result in the end. Form team of the last couple of decades vs. form team of the season. Gonna kick back and enjoy this one whatever the result.

Yeah I like keeping it at 13 players because it gives those chasing a better chance & a reduced cap would be very interesting. I could of bombed this week because I originally had Wighton & CNK with Cook (c) but changed it to Cleary & Vunivalu with Cleary (c).

Suggests a max 7 from the grand finalists. From Panthers: Cleary, Yeo, Koro, Crichton (probs squad but no way would I have him in the 17), Mansour (maybe?), Tampa/Leota (maybe????). Storm: Papy, JAC, maybe Finucane? Am I missing anyone?

Liam Martin maybe as edge has bit less depth than the massive number of middles so far with Cordner, Frizell, Crichton (+ Murray sort of)

I’d say Cleary, JAC and Papenhuyzen are guaranteed

Paps is interesting in that I agree he’s guaranteed a squad place, but I personally wouldn’t have him there. If Teddy is injured I’d rather roll with Gutho or Edwards. And Gutho is a better back interchange option too IMO. I just don’t reckon Papy excels being dropped into another setup. Sometimes size matters.
