A not out of 3rd gear performance, Penrith have shown all year that a 5th gear is available at any given week. Panthers from here.

Yeah I’ve seen a few “the winner last night is the GF loser“ calls, and that would make sense if you ignored the four months before last weekend.
Souths did well last night, and yet at no stage did I feel like they’d win.
If I was a Panthers supporter now I’d feel a lot like I did as a Dragons supporter in 2010.

Too big, Too strong, Too easy !!!!
Shout out to my fuck boy Nathan Cleary. Guided the team around the park and they didn't even break a sweat. We bombed 4 tries which gave the false impression Souths were competitive. Bunnies are making a habit of choking in the prelims.

Congrats brother, great win. Still don't know who I want to win the gf, got reasons for both team to lose. Souths been choking ever since 2014, one grand final in 50 years.... hurts

It’s not really a choke as we were not favourites we were big outsiders.Little Minutes wrote:Too big, Too strong, Too easy !!!!

If you want to go back to when we choked 2013 we definitely did and in 89.
Lol didn’t break a sweat come off it your members and fans were very worried at the game when we got back to 14-12 and when we scored with 7mins left.
If the ruck is policed like that again next week which it will be I can see nothing but a Storm win sorry they love a wrestleathon type of match.

What were your thoughts on that Tamou 'penalty' towards the start of the game?

Not sure how spectators is relevant to the team not breaking a sweat. But glad you agree that our bombing of four tries made you look competitive and get back to 14-12 instead of 30-12.When you put a sub par performance it's a choke. I am afraid that you are right about the ruck, combined with a Cam Smith swan song and Clive Churchill medal we should be 100-1. It will be the same as 2014 when the NRL did everything they could for you guys to get the win. Refs will let the Storm get away with murder and make sure we don't get close enough to win.

He shouldn’t have been in that position you can’t be near the kickers legs, it was a fair penalty, my Sister said ch 9 said the same.Ram it in my Haas wrote:

What I was shocked about is no charge for JFH, couldn’t they have at least fined him? We lost our prop because of that. They really need to look at the 18th man rule for once you lose a player to HIA it’s not fair on any team.
There was lots of shit in the ruck and off the ball that went unpoliced to both sides last night.

For mine it was not a sub par performance as back in round 11 we were outside the top 8. It was a great effort to come from 6th and get to a prelim after losing around 1000 games of experience.Little Minutes wrote:

Your pack was too good.
Souths exceeded my expectations in what was a re building year.
Also we had a lot of injuries going into last night Penrith were only missing Kikau. You need luck with injuries to make the big dance on top of playing well and consistent all year.

There was no relevant charge for JFH to only cop a fine and they aren't going to rub him out of a GF for a swinging arm that didn't make initial contact with the head. I agree with the 18th man but the only way it would work is to make it compulsory for the HIA player to miss the next week or coaches will abuse it.

Reckon if the panthers are within striking distance after 25 min they are a chance. Storm starts can be lethal.

Panthers have 17/22 matches where their opponents didn’t score in the first 20 this season. They haven’t trailed after 40 since R1. Not sure they’re the team that should be most worried about the opposition starting fast.

Nice one mate, thanks for that! Is the plan still to drop down to 8 player teams?

Yeah, 13 is too many to have in one game.
I think there is potential for big ground to be made if you nail the right players and others miss out on them. The more players you have the more similar scores as ups and downs even out across teams, maybe.. ?

Turned out to be a pretty good week jumping from 53rd to 37th.
Just need a solid +235 on first this week to take it out!

How funny is it!
Storm beat a very out of form Eels team and then a beat up Raiders side to make the GF. Panthers beat back to back premiers and probably the most in form team in the comp to make the GF to win their 17th or 18th game IN A ROW!.!. and Storm are $1.75 favourites to Panthers $2.15...
I HATE IT! I just want to go into a GF not favourite.
Anyways this weeks bet.
Storm 1-12
Total points U37.5
Kaufusi anytime try scorer
To'o anytime try scorer
Power Play @ $101.00

Yep same, got on them at the start of the finals too so will be adding to that. Based on form this season the odds should be reversed imo
