I do agree with all that lads. Trying to look at all angles, but I'm still seriously tempted by him.

Davey who signed from the Eels. He might actually be front runner for thr spot
Didn't realise that Davey is 29 and not some young rookie. Very late starter.

CHT is another interesting one although we don’t have a big sample size....

Lots of value, that's why I'm scrutinizing Milford heavily.

Milfs score will be completely tied into his KM totals. Unless he gets back his old 400-500km a game then he won't score like he used to
Then you are banking on him re gaining some attacking form just to create a few extra points
not worth it unless he becomes a KM hog again and it looks unlikely with Dearden

Dearden is still super young and he isnt suddenly going to take all the kick metres. Milford has a much better boot, so he shoukd still have an OK base if we arent losing by 30+ every other week again. Kevy is basically pinning his hopes on milford and pangai being our key players, as a Broncos fan it will be interesting to see. I dont think Kevy is the saviour but Im confident Milford is better without Siebolds strict game plans/structural ideas, and stubborness to change.
Is Pangai playing edge?

His KM totals always gave him a fantastic floor on top of his previous attacking intent, last year it looked like he was playing to a game plan not suiting his own attacking game or at least told to stick to a rigid game plan and not have a free role.
I'd used to love watching him play and hope he can re discover his previous best, but even with that, without those huge KM totals he will be stuck in fantasy half purgatory, ebough to make money at current price but likely better options
I punted last year and got middled, not afraid to do same again but more wary at least

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 2 - Backdoor Entry
Infact getting Milf instead of higher priced, higher percentage owned players last year sent me crashing from the dizzy heights I had for 3/4 of the season
But like I said, not afraid to go there again if I see something, you win some and you lose some

Too much competition for that fullback spot. Would never displace Barrett or the next few guys after him that are just as talented, but younger, so haven't had the same opportunities yet.Welshy wrote:Will interesting to see how well RTS does in union. Will probably get a go on the wing first. He can displace McKenzie for the back up role although Will Jordan looks special, has the perfect skillset for an impact bench role in union
Zero chance he is going to just give it a go, he must of had some communication with NZ rugby before committing about his chances

Surely Watson and Liddle are must haves at their low $300k price points. Both will massively outperform this.No Worries wrote:People have seemed to move away from a hooker heavy team this year. Currentlu have McInnes, Brailey & Grant but mybench sacrifices a mid range cow

Tbh the speculation is that he's gonna go to the Blues, with eyes on the World Cup. Personally I'm in the "I'll believe it when I see it" camp.
If he does switch though, I don't think he would be under any illusion that he'd walk into the ABs First XV, but a great turn out for the Blues in whatever Super competition exists next year could put him in the squad at least. Perhaps even the conversation of a starting spot would be a win for him.
The Blues need his leadership if nothing else, especially with people like James Parsons (retired today) not there anymore. The potential of a backline with him and Barrett in it (let alone Ioane) makes me pretty happy as a Blues fan for the first time in a while though lol

He wants certainty of being based in NZ for family reasons.Welshy wrote:

Trying to catch up, but what has been the Forum consensus on potentially wasting an 18-21 spot on Simpkin if having Liddle in your 17?

I'm good mate, still in a bastard lockdown because the morons who run the country didn't do their jobs at the start of the pandemic! Had no outdoor sport since before xmas as well which is effecting me more than anything in honesty, I'm working 2/3 days week and happy to be home for the rest because i'm still on 80% pay on the days I don't work.
You all good son?
