Great stuff which I think tempts me on him even more. Even if he doesn't get back to the huge KM of 2018/19, he still averaged 45 in 2016/17 with comparable kick metres, which puts him at ~13 underpriced.

Essentially, he had a career-low year for metres gained, try assists, line breaks, tackle busts, linebreak assists, offloads, tackles, tries, and field goals - in most cases by a long way. What are the odds of that all repeating?

Admittedly he also has fewer demerits, but probably as a result of trying less? Surely indicative of Siebold's more restrictive game plan?

Very tempting if he can regain even an inkling of attacking spark.

I went from having 1M ITB to struggling to make a team under the cap. who are some of the best 246k players? currently the cheapies list seems to be:

Shawn Blore 246K: Passed the eye test last year and is favourite for the second row spot

Josh Schuster 274k: Honestly don't know much about him but should start - scored 28 in 64 minutes last year

Daniel Alvaro 296k: Hasn't been mentioned much but should make good coin if he gets a half decent role at St George, PPM above 1 and more minutes in the centre without McInnes

Jake Averillo 302k: Should start at 5/8, DPP, centre but isnt playing centre

Jacob Liddle 304k: Starting hooker at 304k

Matt Moylan 310k: Training the house down, starting 5/8, career average at 5/8 only 8.1 points above what he is priced at, training the house down

Corey Harawira-Naera 310k: Good chance of snagging a starting spot, average of 42 at starting second row

Tex Hoy 314k: IGNORE massive trap for casual players, will start for 1-2 rounds then will be relegated to either the wing, bench or reserve grade

Connor Watson 323k: Rumours of starting lock, if true is a must have, if not true is fantasy gold off the bench anyway and is one injury away from averaging 50+

James Roberts 336k: Fallen gun, 10 points underpriced by his career average

Cody Ramsey 342k: Passes the eye test, should start

Jordan Riki 344k: Looks good, couple of good scores at the end of the year, questionable as to wether or not he will start

Leeson Ah Mau 360k: Average of 45.4 playing between 30 and 50 minutes which is what is expected to be his role

Andrew Davey 364k: front runner for the second row spot, pair of 50s in his two starts

Jack Bird 374k: Could play lock and available at centre

Matthew Lodge 390k: priced at not much, career average at prop is 45, might not start though

any sub 400k players i missed?

NRL just wrote to say cancelling the NRL live app subscription.  At less than $100 bucks a year it was a nice cheap way to watch all the NRL games.

NRL say they have agreement with Kayo and sent me in that direction.

Looks like I’ll have to stump up for Fox or Kayo if I want to keep tabs this year.  Hate paying for the extra stuff I won’t use.  (Yeah, I know, 3rd world problems and all)

This CHN news means i now have to go for Liddle or Moylan. So if that's not bad enough this Riki talk might mean I need to start again. Damn it!

    Currently my team is:

    Jrailey
    Lolo Watson Gilbert
    Difita Davey
    Munster Cleary
    Kelly Bird
    Tedesco Trbojevic Holmes

    Lam Koala Liddle Blore

    Moylan Averillo Riki 88k

    First version of my team

Official sources stated that this is false and misleading

I don't know where to get the money from. I like everyone in my team at the moment

    My Guns:

Lolo: I thought a bit back that something had changed (other than new coach) and that he was going to have a massive year because of it but don't remember what that could have been - could downgrade him but i want him
Fifita: Really like the look of him after a few injury affected games and should benefit from a much better attack
Cleary: the only one of the big 3 which seems likely to do it again, want him as captain
Munster: with goal kicking should improve alot
Kelly: 8 points underpriced and after last year want a gun centre
Tedesco: Want a gun WFB dont see many other good options so may aswell get him in now rather than get a place holder while that ill trade out later for him

Ones I really like: Brailey, Watson, Gilbert, Davey, Bird, Trbojevic, Holmes, Lam, Liddle, Blore, Riki, Koala

Ones I'm not overly confident in: Moylan, Averillo

Not sure how to make up that cash as the only players I'm not confident in are 310k or less. are there any players I like but shouldn't or any 246 k cheapies i have missed?

    NRL Physio:
Jai Arrow is back in full training after suffering a hamstring strain earlier in the preseason (via @cmail_sport). Thankfully wasn’t serious and only caused him to miss 2-3 weeks of training. Expect him to be fit for Round 1 provided he avoids re-injury (though usual risk: 10+%)

Was posted today, not sure when the setback was but maybe even after this

Every year I go for an undervalued half instead of an outright gun and it always backfires, so this year I'm nearly dead set on Cleary because you guys are convincing me he's gonna average 85 this year but Munster's price tag is so appealing

It's the 2nd day of February why is fantasy so hard already

Was a beast in the ISC in 2019. Should start and average 45.5 in 59 minutes as starting second row

In article about Arrow, mentions Bennett has said Murray will be lock. I think more relevant thing from that would mean Koloamatangi would be likely candidate for edge

Also a load of NRL Physio insight about players from each club

Think you can shave some money if that's what you are looking for and go elsewhere in CTR over Kelly. Personal opinion Is that it will also be incredibly difficult for Cleary to match that average again, massive amount of coin to invest off the bat. Think there is plenty of room for Munster to improve on his highest fantasy average without Smith and I'll be starting season with him also, but there is a fair amount of choice for that second spot in terms of money makers and decet point getters

Rest of the team looks the goods to me, I'm running Fifita to start the season also

Also in that DT link from above:

Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart says Jarrod Croker is ahead of schedule in his recovery from shoulder surgery and is hopeful of having his captain on deck for round one.

Raiders and their bloody secret healing powers never in doubt

    Also mentions Milford:
For those looking at Anthony Milford, it is worth considering his increased injury risk; his four hamstring strains (two after earlier than expected returns) went under the radar a bit last season.
