Just need to see his stats from R16 onwards when he played bigger minutes off bench and started mate
Passes the eye test as well (in terms of fantasy, not looks) Definite Hills have eyes vibes.

Kelly Bird

First version of my team
ⓘ Official sources stated that this is false and misleading
I don't know where to get the money from. I like everyone in my team at the moment
My Guns:
Lolo: I thought a bit back that something had changed (other than new coach) and that he was going to have a massive year because of it but don't remember what that could have been - could downgrade him but i want him
Fifita: Really like the look of him after a few injury affected games and should benefit from a much better attack
Cleary: the only one of the big 3 which seems likely to do it again, want him as captain
Munster: with goal kicking should improve alot
Kelly: 8 points underpriced and after last year want a gun centre
Tedesco: Want a gun WFB dont see many other good options so may aswell get him in now rather than get a place holder while that ill trade out later for him
Ones I really like: Brailey, Watson, Gilbert, Davey, Bird, Trbojevic, Holmes, Lam, Liddle, Blore, Riki, Koala
Ones I'm not overly confident in: Moylan, Averillo
Not sure how to make up that cash as the only players I'm not confident in are 310k or less. are there any players I like but shouldn't or any 246 k cheapies i have missed?
As mentioned Id go cheaper at ctr too if you need to free up cash and keep your current guns

Wasn't going to touch him with a 10 foot pole, but now might need one of those extendable poles to increase the distance
Hamstring injury history, broken hands, and relying on form change isn't great combo

He has the pedigree and a low risk at current price but there are heaps as you say of reasons not to get him anyway mate

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 2 - Backdoor Entry
Hey fellas, good to be back Hopefully things go a bit smoother this year
Here’s my current draft subject to a million changes
Brailey
Lolo Gilbert Watson
Matterson Fifita
(C)leary Munster
Bird Roberts
RTS Turbo Niu
Lam Davey Riki CHN
Liddle Averillo Blore Simonsson $7k remaining
Obviously assuming certain players get desired roles. Wanted Cleary as a set and forget captain, cheapish centres and a few guns to rely on who will miss Origin (Lolo, Matto, RTS). Would like a bit more cash in the bank in case for Round 1 blunders but not sure what to cut

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 2 - Backdoor Entry
Sample is small, but I really hope Lam gets a decent run in that Roosters side. Fair few of his interchange appearances were covering hooker weren't they which would explain his high tackle counts in low minutes
But if he gets the run I think he can go Flanno level scoring minus the GK, will have a great base alongside Keary. Would expect him to go around 45 without much effort

Agree mate. Some just use religion as an excuse and a platform for hate speech. But I won't get into that now.

Not too surprising... Tiges bench makeup (positions)
Simpkins/ Utility forward & 3 x Prop/middle forwards.

Really liking the idea of Niu/Moylan as third WFB with teddy and turbo. If RTS played r13 might be a consideration for me. Still not sold on Holmes. Gotta see him train the house down in trials the man has a lot to prove

Is it a full moon or something today?
McInnes/Dragons, Folau, People trying to justify Folau, now Latrell being linked to the Broncos and Mole deciding that Jackson Hastings "could" land himself at the Tigers (won't happen).

You will still run him if not named R1? Seems stupid when you can potentially grab someone who could potentially makes 30-50k right off the bat. Couple that with the potential he might be a dud pick anyway?

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 2 - Backdoor Entry
He is a guy you would be holding until round 13 anyway, missing the first round isn't a big deal. You can easily have 20 playing and 1 not. Likely means instead of 10% ownership it is 1%, so if he was a good pick, very few others get in on it.Welshy wrote:

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 2 - Backdoor Entry
But if he looks like he's reverted back to fantasy gold he gets traded in. If he bombs you have missed a round, and potentially more of scoring and cash making and then have to get him out.mattnz wrote:

Not like he's a slam dunk pick like Watson, where if he missed the first round there would be cause for saving a trade and starting with him, for me too many moving parts for Milf

Problem with injury is that two weeks can turn into eight - I'm looking at you Nathan Brown.
I'm unlikely to do it, but I'd be much more comfortable if the person was suspended rd 1 rather than injured.
