Anyone else looking to avoid Moylan, or is he just too cheap? Who else are people putting at WFB besides those four? I reckon Blake Ferguson could get off to a flyer after a lean year, don't think I'll have the Kahuna's for that though. Who am I missing?

There's still a month and a trial to get through before the season starts - if Moylan's fit, then probably worth having - even if he's an expensive NPR.

Isaako is probably still an alternative. RTS is always there or there abouts for $200k cheaper than Tedesco (and probably a little bit underpriced, plus seems to be good at avoiding injury across a season).
I think there's an outside chance the tigers snare Laurie before the season commencement (if Panthers can fit Momirovski into their cap). Whether there's enough time for him to grab the FLB spot is another thing.

Hearing Benji say that Latrell is at the ground training at 6.30am seems like a good "house down" story. Fitness has always been one of those big questions people have on Latrell

I’m flipping between Teddy + Moses and Cleary + any of those 50 average FBs (Pap, Edwards, Brimson, RTS) a lot

I really dislike the Moses pick but can’t deny he’s a gun and probably top 3 HLF

I am liking Latrell. Now listen... last years stats aren't anything to really go off. First couple games he was getting a spell at centre and still getting used to the roll. He had a couple injury mishaps last year and was really hitting his straps before getting injured for the season. I think another pre-season at FB, hopefully a bit fitter and Bunnies have got some more Good players in their squad I think he can find a bit more consistency and push up around 45-50 a game and at least make some money.

Cheers ST, yeah just started looking at him after my post. I agree he can improve, just not sure by how much. If he was still available at centre, I'd be a lot happier about starting him at WFB and moving him to centre later on. I guess I'll watch the all stars closely.

Is the talk that Isaako will be Broncos FB? Would he be GK?

I've mostly had Moses in my team, I think he's a good pick. If he's not a top 3 half, he'll be close enough that it won't matter.

Amazing work, especially the search function.

I was the best team with a name containing Duper OR Steelers, and 2nd in the "Super" league

There were 11 teams with a pun on "Haas" in the top 1000. 60 in the top 5000 lol

Depends which hour of the day. I've had Cleary, Munster, Moses, Lam, Brooks are the ones I'm looking at. I can fit four in. If I don't have Cleary, I'm getting Cook to have another captain option besides Lolo.

Yeah, at this stage it is his spot to lose. Will be goal kicking

Im fairly tempted. Hes obviously got talent but will it ever materialise into consistent NRL form..

Tommy T will be one wfb and a cheapie the last spot. Its tedesco for the other spot or someone like Isaako with the extra funds going to another gun fwd

That Benji news in Latrell makes me a bit more safer looking at him. Staggs was kicking last year wasn't he??? If Isaako is FB and kicking goals I think I would prefer him.

I'd imagine that with question marks over McInnis and Haas reducing minutes the three highest percentage captains in Round 1 will be Cleary,, Cook and Taumalolo.

Staggs only kicked when Isaako wasnt in the side. Isaako is a much more accomplished kicker.

I hope him getting dropped erupts a fire within him to perform. Obviously he has had a lot happen to him over the last 24 months with his dad passing and him losing his spot in the side so hopefully we see a much more improved and consistent Isaako. I still remember the trial match against cows where he came on in the 65th minutes mark and just tore the field up in those last 15 minutes... Would love to see that stuff again.

Can Dragons really afford to not play McInnes for 80 even if he is leaving

Most of their other forwards are plodders

They can if Macca or Peats signs or if they play Sullivan or Clune and move Hunt to hooker.

I can see McInnes just playing 65mins in some games.

So who is leading the count for most drafts? If anyone is up to around 20 odd they’re flogging me I’m only at 4.

      Current date/time is Sat Nov 23, 2024 11:35 am
