I am liking Latrell. Now listen... last years stats aren't anything to really go off. First couple games he was getting a spell at centre and still getting used to the roll. He had a couple injury mishaps last year and was really hitting his straps before getting injured for the season. I think another pre-season at FB, hopefully a bit fitter and Bunnies have got some more Good players in their squad I think he can find a bit more consistency and push up around 45-50 a game and at least make some money.

Have you seen the promo shot for the all stars match ? If that's the best he can do sucking his gut in, he must look like me.

I hope him getting dropped erupts a fire within him to perform. Obviously he has had a lot happen to him over the last 24 months with his dad passing and him losing his spot in the side so hopefully we see a much more improved and consistent Isaako. I still remember the trial match against cows where he came on in the 65th minutes mark and just tore the field up in those last 15 minutes... Would love to see that stuff again.

Yeah I remember that, in particular if it's the same game, a kick return tearing our right side apart.

Is the talk that Isaako will be Broncos FB? Would he be GK?

Kevvy stated late last month that Isaako was the front runner for FLB position, but a months a long time in preseason, definitely worth keeping an eye on as we hit trials and that March 9 TLT!

I'm not convinced on Kevin Walters as a head coach, BUT I will say that I think he will do great at giving his players self-belief and he isn't afraid to utilise staff around him to fill in any gaps.
I think he could be a good tonic for some of those players that look like they've had issues around confidence etc (I'm looking at you Isaako!)

I can see McInnes just playing 65mins in some games.

He has had 4 games under 70 minutes in the past 3 years, and one of them he got injured.

They will still play him big minutes for as long as he is part of their team

Only scored under 66 twice last year when starting hooker. some of that involved moving to lock with Hunt going to hooker, but there are a lot of base stats there that are hard to ignore

I don't think Hunt will shift to hooker but I've got nothing to base that on. I think its pretty likely that Macca will be there this year thought and start at 9, with McInnes at lock.

What do people think Holmes is going to average this year?

Other than a 2 month hot streak late in late 2018 (where he scored 9 tries in 8 weeks and kciked a lot of goals), he averages just over 40 and is priced just under 40

IMO he's too expensive with not enough value, unless you think the cowboys are going to allow him to excel again. i think he is maybe 5 points under priced. Not terrible, but I think there will be better options

I am guessing you didn't have latrell last season. Get used to yelling at the TV telling the lazy prickto run the ball out of his own half, not just taking last touches In the opposition 20 meter zone.

Anyone have any way to get past paywalls on news sites? There is a new COVID case in Townsville (returning Perth traveller) but everywhere has pay walls.

I think ive done 8 or 9 reasonably different drafts although i keep about 7-10 of the same players each time. Currently im pretty happy with a draft that has a hell of a lot of players sitting just below the highest price guns (McInnes, Haas & Cleary). Lolo and Crichton are my most expensive players. Lolo will probably be my captain at this stage. Ideally id get another gun who i could have as perma-captain but i have my doubts about the 3 guns i mentioned before and if my doubts come to fruition then Lolo/Crichton should score very close to those 3 anyway. Thats my logic anyway. I tried a team with McInnes and one with Haas and i just couldn't get enough depth or scoring power in other positions.

Anyone else looking to avoid Moylan, or is he just too cheap? Who else are people putting at WFB besides those four? I reckon Blake Ferguson could get off to a flyer after a lean year, don't think I'll have the Kahuna's for that though. Who am I missing?
I don't currently have Moylan, but if I did it would be in 18-21, not starting.

I am still on the 1 draft... may do another after trials and more team news comes out and then will probably do 4-5... hundred between TLT and the first game.

I can’t see that changing much coming out of our own end as we have Mansour now who will cart the ball back up non stop. I think Latrell might score a bit better but I’ll be staying clear early on.

Out of Cleary, Haas and McInnes Cleary is the front runner for me.

Issue is trying to fit Cleary, Cook, Lolo and Teddy in. I can’t have them all........ so torn..... and then I need a gun second rower as well....

It’ll be one of Cleary or Teddy I run without just not sure who yet.

I could go cheap in the backs Tommy T, Isaako and whatever other cheapie pops up..... eg Laurie or take a gamble on Moylan as third WFB GGUULLLPPPPP
