    Just went through a bit of match replay to see Lam's full game v Dragons

    Firstly, Ch9 commentary is hilarious on double speed.

    Secondly, does look like active defender.

    Interesting with his KM, as a left-footer playing on right I'm not sure whether that's good or bad, in terms of consistent KM

    Just looking at players who are locked in my team (But may still change later, its just less likely)

    McInnes
    Haas, Lolo, (MID)
    D.Fifita, (EDG)
    CHT, (HLF)
    Bird, (CTR)
    Turbo, (WFB) (WFB)

    Brailey, Watson, Averillo (INT)
    Blore (EMG) (EMG) (EMG)

    That means there are 11 players taking up $6.08M and the remaining 6 spots have to add to $3.72M or less.

    So now ill look at the players who are in serious contention by position

    HOK = Cook, Liddle
    MID = Crichton*, BMM*, Tino
    EDG = CHN, Riki, Palasia
    HLF = Cleary, DCE, Moylan*, Schuster
    CTR = Roberts, D.Walker*
    WFB = Tedesco, Papi, Staines, Niu, Simonsson, Saab

    * signifies they are dual position but ive placed them in the position where they would be most likely to slot into my team.

    There will still be players outside of those ive mentioned that ill consider and the 11 that are locked are still subject to change, it just seems that im happy with them for the moment.

    Anyway, ill keep tinkering and see if i can come up with something i really like

    I thought Foran will be starting with DCE in the halves but if Shuster starts he'll be in all teams.

    I was just reading the Korisau discussion that happened earlier.
    Is anyone worried about panthers players points mainly there spine this year with no Trent Barrett as the attacking coach. It's probably nothing but has got me thinking.

    I think Keary will wear the 7 and play on the right with Lam on the left.

    I honestly don’t think Foran’s body could handle a full time role at hooker.
    Of the available options I hope they go with Cade Cust at hooker.

    I still find it amazing that Manly could go into the season without a recognised hooker (Fainu ineligible until his court case is finalised), which leads me to believe that there is something happening behind closed doors.
    Welcome to the Eagles CS9.

    Disclaimer - I don’t really think this will happen.

    haha, not quite the Roosters cap. I've managed to create a team with all of those 11 and with only 1 228k player and next cheapest is Blore at 246k and then Niu at 263k. I actually ended up selecting RTS who i hadn't mentioned as someone i was considering. My halves are currently the big issue with my team. If i could get 1 half without them taking up any of my salary id be super happy with my team :p

    assuming he does play five-eighth, do we think Foran will affect DCE's scoring? he's a pretty inconsistent fantasy scorer, but surely having an experienced half partner might mean not everything goes through DCE. Not sure if stats from 2011-2015 are going to tell us much - was a different fantasy game back then.

    Likely detracts from DCEs scoring. He normally has a nuffy next to him with all the attack through DCE.

    Looked like Lam had a great thing going with Sitili as his edge in lower grades. Great at putting him through holes.

    Seems easier to make a starting team this year.

    I remember a lot of scratching around last season with 4*228k EMG as placeholders to get a team I liked. This season I just did a quick draft and had a few hundred k to spare

    So I was a Souths fan when I started watching - 1989 (earliest game I vividly remember is the loss to the Raiders before the GF) and 1990

    Then in early 1991, he took me to my first live game. Souths coming to Wollongong to play the Steelers - they got pumped and it was Steelers forever after.

    Dragons are ok I guess

    Same year that I started watching.
    Really enjoyed the Steelers team back then (a sentimental #2 team). They had some great players at that time; Piccinelli, Schifilliti, David Riolo, Rod Wishart, and then one of the best Centre pairings of that time in Rodwell & McGregor.

    Dragons now linked to Peats

    They must really hate McInnes to want to replace him with an inferior player so badly.
