Cheapskate idea is what it is.

I guess that comes down to what the prize is? if the 7 top prizes are equivalent to 3 or 4 weekly prizes then it's a better thing to win and rewards more consistent players rather than the randomness of a particular round - but just my opinion (didn't say that everyone should necessarily like it).

I hope they have a monthly ranking so players know where they sit going into the last round of a given month (and if you're in with a shot of a top 3 etc)

Definitely expecting another drop in prizes this year. Obviously COVID has had an impact but V'Landys has never seemed too excited about digital.

Probably expecting a drop there was just wondering if there had been word from Donkeys camp in regards to this

I'm looking for a TLolo downgrade

Or you could go with Angus.

I was going to say the same thing. Munster's left side long kicking in origin 1 went a long way to us winning the game. Even if he just picks up half of Smith's 130kms there's 3 points, and as has been said he has a two year (non-injury) avg of 54. That's 57 (7 points unders) without really trying which is probably enough for selection. Given that he's just a natural footballer I reckon he has a nose for intercepts/strips/cover defence and could get a bump with the new rules. And could get a bump with extra playmaking with Smith gone and could be in line for GK. So much upside with little downside. Even if none of those other things happen, I'd still have him at about 57 which is good enough for me.

In two pages I've gone from no real interest to "get in my team".

I’ve tried a draft with Cleary and Munster but couldn’t fit Teddy in due to having Cook, Angus and Matterson!

My concern with having Cleary, Munster, Angus and Cook is they all play origin, would have to trade 2 of them out come origin.

Me too!!! Wonder how much Hughes eats into that extra playmaking left by Smith.

On the Grant/BS9 minutes watch I don't see Grant being anything less than an 80 minutes hooker. Bellamy has never been one to ponder a bench hooker (obviously has had the best in the game).

I just think Brandon Smith at the Storm is a middle. He plays in the middle and he and Tino were the best bench in the comp. We cannot afford to have him spending time at 9 when we need him in the middle, especially with Tino gone now. Smith is gone next year to play 9 elsewhere, but has always stated while he is at the Storm he will do whatever Bellyache needs him to. Last year was Grants opportunity to get his gas tank up playing 9 at NRL level so he can step straight into the 9 role in Melbourne playing 80 minutes.

Reading some articles about the 9 spot in Melbourne also makes it sound like it’s a battle for the spot, as in who will be the out and out 9, rather than sharing the role.

With McCullough gone they have 28 of their 30 top spots filled.

Should be interesting to see how he goes but he did say hes doing it mainly to transition into coaching.

    Monthly Prizes
In 2021 there will be seven(7) set periods (months) as defined in the Terms & Conditions. Each month the three top-scoring entrants in that month will win prizes.

Don't mind the monthly prize, but it just amazes me how tight-fisted the NRL is towards fans. Weekly prizes surely weren't breaking the NRL's bank.

Will someone announce a team list for the trial today? Or is it just, the whole top 30 and chop and change a lot?

I did one on fantasy website last year with NRL Fantasy Talk Discord and enjoyed it. Most of players stopped playing after COVID though so regular season was cakewalk and then in classic fashion I lost the final

I might kick a thread off today with EOI and if we get enough I'll start a league up. Cheers Camo
