Rewatched the Panthers Eels trial today to get some thoughts on a few players

Spencer Leniu is an incredible talent and I have no doubt he will be starting by mid year. Fantastic leg drive, great play the ball speed and incredibly mobile for his size. Always seems to land on his front when tackled, with Panthers having a surprising amount of "good ball" after his play the balls. Might be one that has more football impact than fantasy impact but I'll probably find a way to have him in my 21

Moses/Brown swapping sides seem heavily over blown. Moses still lurked from left to right in attack and still seemed to do enough kicking for me to start with him. With Eels almost full strength side struggling for points in the trial I wouldn't be surprised to see them swap back for round 1

Has there been any confirmation on Croker’s status?
I’ve seen nothing credible to confirm he’s injured.

Only saw the second half but Schuster was their best (not that that's saying much)

Des Hasler confirms it’s actually a suspected broken thumb for Cade Cust. Leaves Lachlan Croker as last-man standing for hooker in round one. Didn’t play today with minor hamstring concern but will be fit for season.

"Cust's injury threatened to leave Manly without a hooker in a fortnight's time, but coach Des Hasler said fellow No.9 option Lachlan Croker would be OK and was only "rested" for the trial."

Good price but tough early draw

Tigers tend to go alright in their first 4 or 5 games historically.

Who do Manly have to spell Croker or would he just play 80?

    Foran.
My guess is Croker at 9, Foran at 6, and Schuster on the bench.
Schuster comes on to replace Croker, with Foran going to hooker.

Would imagine something like Schuster bench, with Foran moving to hooker

I’d love to see it. Preferably right centre and Tuala back to reserve grade. He’d be an auto pick for me

On the wing with edrick coming back to take his place on the other hand I’d probably have to wait and see

Sorry for the confusion. Of course, by never admit you are wrong logic, then 'ean' is pronounced 'omonic' in English slang.
