You'd be first in my team. Captain option for your consistency. A real Jake Turbo type.

If the new rules (both irl and fantasy) increase fantasy scoring overall,  I assume the magic number will reduce to account for this.  Therefore, a player who is fairly priced from 2020 will only go up in price if his scoring increases by more than the average increase across all players??

If that’s the case, which players benefit most?  Assuming the irl changes create more time in play and therefore fatigue - perhaps it’ll be the fitter attacking players / bench impact players more than the tackle bots?

Who are you leaving out if you start him though, Teddy or Pap?

Pap, but will probs start with Cook who would have be the one to go if Pap was added at WFB.

I'm not particularly scared about not starting with Pap and see Latrell as a way to get him/Ponga without having to compromise my preferred starting team. This could be foolish but gut feel and all that.

As per everything...this is all subject to the way the cards fall next Tuesday. Really just fucking around with the team until then and trying to see whats possible.

Yeah if you look at a guy like Cook, started last year priced at 65, dropped over $100k despite averaging 64.

Almost makes for a case to select all the cash cows, have cash in the bank and pick up all the fallen guns with the cash.

Someone tell me about BMM where does he fit in at the Warriors? Edge, Middle, bench? If he starts R1, is he a trap given Katoa to come back from eye socket and Egan to push Jazz back into the middle. His dpp is attractive.

Does Cust's thumb injury improve Croker's job security? I know I've poo-pooed him, but who do they have left? Schuster? Any rumours about signing someone else? Or are they confident with Fainu, when is his court date?

Schuster played his way into at least a bench spot at the weekend, Manly's best by a mile. Maybe Croker 40-50 minutes at hooker, Foran moves there and Schuster comes into 6.

True. Problem is if Schuster impresses too much then nek minnut 6. Schuster 9. Foran 14. Croker.

Pretty sure the earliest date he will be able to play is some time in July.

Nek 10 minutes into game 1, Foran injures himself and is out for season.

I'm looking at Schuster, so no problem here. Croker playing as badly as most expect at hooker would see that happen pretty fast.

Historically, have many teams broken up their halves combo mid-game to shift one to hooker? Dragons did it a bit last year, but they were and are terrible.

I've considered that option many times. Pick all of the cows being talked up and a gun captain. You fall behind in the first few rounds, but can upgrade poor cows for guns with decent price drops and maybe accelerate back into contention. Has anyone ever tried it?

No, but I am doing something similar while spending all my cap. Going sub-guns and cows.

Arent all price increases and decreases relative ?

If the MN drops then a cows price isnt increasing by as much ?

I was trying to work out Crokers stats at hooker.

In 2020, off the interchange he has two poor scoring 70+ min games, but these were both replacing Dylan Walker getting injured inside 10 mins at 5/8.

I assume the shorter min bench games are mostly subbing Levi. You'd think if he starts, you can remove the sub-30 min appearances. So in the 30-50 mins range (really 30-41) he averages 35.4, which seems pretty encouraging as a hooker. Priced at 23. That's handy.

He has mainly been training on the edge, if he starts then the likely setup is him and Katoa, Tohu to 13 Jazz to the bench. That is the best pack they can put out.

But yeah Katoa out week one means we won't have certainty because I really doubt Katoa doesn't start when he comes back.

Also if Jazz ends up hooker the first couple of weeks that makes it unclear also.
