It's more that whether or not Laurie starts is out of my control.

All I can do is pick him or not based on where he is round 1. And in that sense my opinion hasn't changed.

Manly have been quite poor though, so hard to judge Tigers on this attacking performance

Douehi looking like he could do a Wighton this season, play significantly better in the halves than as fullback.

    Looking huge too, thunder thighs

He's played on the right with Roberts, Nofo

Brooks (now Madden) on the left with the Leiluas

Hahahahah no way. At least Wighton always had a great running game. Douehi will never get to his level and you can hold me to that

Actually looks like after Madden came on for Brooks Madden has gone right and Douiehi left.

Tigers right side attack has been the most damaging

Liddle was solid, played the first 40. Simpkin on at HT. but hard to make much of the game with manly playing without many of the top squad. Luciano ran over the top of the young manly half throughout the first 40 and they just carved them up on that left side. Manly looked horrible in limited opportunities in attack but without the first choice spine (and then cust got hurt early on) thats probably to be expected.

Manly subbed out half their team at the break so it became a glorified nsw cup trial after about 10 to 15 of the second half. I stopped watching then lol

Foran may end up as hooker yet, Schuster at 6, if Cust injury is serious

Personally I have no worries about Munster. No Cam Smith anymore, Grant and B Smith are not noted kickers so I'd assume somebody's going to take up extra responsibility and I'm taking the chance it's going to be Munster getting the points boost rather than Hughes.

Although to be honest I just really like him as a player and if I finally have an excuse to put him in my team from the start I'll take it.

If Laurie was to get FB, I'd assume Simpkin drops out for Mbye who can cover 1-7 & 9 on bench

Another one to watch is Morgan Harper. Did he go any good at fullback. By the looks of it no one did to well from Manly.

Poaasa played 24 minutes as starting prop, and Vaughan played less than 40 minutes. Neither of which will continue either.

I'll probably avoid all Dragons middle/eedge forwards, as I can see them chopping and changing week to week.

Coaching history is also something to factor in. Griffin historically carries either a utility or a forward on the bench that he gives little game time, 20 minutes and under.

He has a team that is not expected to do well and there's no telling who's going to go up or down on a given week so basically all that was to say yes I agree.

Other coaching classics. Des is never going to play Taupau for big minutes, Madge could drop anyone at any time and ruin your plans, Robinson is always going to rest players etc

Possible broken thumb for Cade Cust, scans to assess in coming days. If break confirmed it is usually 4-8 weeks. Via NRLPhysio
