Yep. Well that is the 3 I've got right now. A nice combo.

I think MID is the toughest position this year. There aren't any guns I'm really considering other than Crichton who I want at edge or more likely on the bench with his dpp. There is a few sub-guns, or as I prefer to call them "mid-rangers" that might make the jump to gun status. Tino, Twal, BS9, Paulo, AFB, TKO, JFH. You can make a case for all of them. I just don't like doing it, or at least not too many of them, because historically it's really hard to make that jump to gun status. That leaves cows, BMM, Hetherington, LAM, Lodge, Koala, Ford, Alvaro etc.

I'm leaning towards Tino and one of the cows and I don't really like it. Edit: to go with Watson of course.

I dont think there is much to say about Koroisau as his situation doesnt really change at all. No significant changes to the Panthers team. I mean the biggest change is them losing Mansour so they lose some of those hard yards he makes down his own end a little with hitups and returning the ball. Which is such a minute change that it doesn't have much of an effect.

The only other factor is the ball in play time, with the new rule changes and again this is a minor roll on effect. From the Panthers vs Eels trial one half added 5 minutes more than the average NRL half last year of ball in play time. While this is a lot for argument sake, lets say the new rule change adds only an extra 5 minutes of ball in play time throughout 80 minutes. (Half what added in the trial)

That means the old average of 54 minutes of ball in play last year bumps up to the new average would be 59 minutes. Giving Koroisau a player who gets the bulk of his points through consistent means in tackling an extra 5 minutes of tackling.

Koroisau averaged 50 tackles a game which is almost a tackle a minute, in the extra five minutes Koroisau should see a slight bump in his tackle count to 54 tackle average.

Koroisau also made the third most runs from dummy half last year with 103, and will now be up against even more tired defenders. With only minimal attacking stats last year 4 Tries, 4 TAs, 5 LB, 4 LBA, and an average of 2 TBs per game. There is every reason he can increase his attacking productivity through the middle with more tired defenders.

So in summary, there isnt any reason Koroisau should regress, but there is a slight uptick in base stats that could see him get 4 or 5 points extra a game. While there is the potential for his attacking stats to grow. (Lets just hope he stays an 80 minute player.)

Unless a 246k mid turns up on TLT that I can stick in npr for cover. Then I might just put Crichton at MID.

Is it just me that finds it funny that Haas is gonna be in so little teams to start. The last 2 seasons it's just been inevitable to have him in your team but with his suspension and his price tag everyone is off him. It's gonna be good to see some different captaincy options now!!

The guns that I really want in my team are Cleary, Cherry-Evans, Crichton and Tedesco. Also have kept hold of D Fifita. When I do play with options, it's Teddy that I let go of, but I hate not having him, so back in he goes.

Although it limits gun options in MID, it's kinda nice that he's not in consideration. If he was playing RD1, I think team selection would be even harder with his price. Although, he would make for another captain to choose from.

I've had that halves pairing for a while. Cleary for captaincy and Cherry-Evans for being a step above Moses with potentially more points from no Turbo and I think I heard he might be goal kicking???

Can't go wrong with those guns, but if leaving one out, personally I'd leave out DCE. So many halves to pick from.

I don't know that too many would start with him with his reduced minutes, similar to what's happened with Taumalolo. In reality he'll still be in ideal end of season teams, which would probably have Haas, Lolo and one other at MID with Crichton DPP on the bench.

Would back that especially with how horrible Manly looked in trial, albeit without DCE
