Maybe I should go with him as if he goes well my rank could suffer and if he flops at least I’m with the crowd!

    Ignore

MTB's site still shows same ownership for some players not in game (Randall & CS9)

If you can't upgarde a WFB cow straight to Teddy (and its unlikely that you will be able to do it in 1 trade) You do it by trading a forward/half to Teddy, and then fix up WFB in future weeks.

Last year I think Taumalolo to teddy was a popular trade (if not Taumalolo then some other expensive forward), as one got injured as the other dropped in price. Something like that might pop up again this year, but obviously you can't count on it in your planning.

But working out when to trade Teddy in is not really any different to working out when to trade in Cook or Haas or some other gun you start without.

Chris Randall is owned by triple the amount of players than McCullough is and he can't even play because he's in the development squad

That says a bit about ownership percentages

McInnes has almost as many owners as McCullough does.

Well, I just wasn't happy with the balance of my team.

    So I did it...

Back in comes Teddy to join Paps. Laurie/Niu to cover 3rd WFB.

    Brailey 10-15
    Turpin 10
    Liddle 10-15
    Macca 5-10

Minus the base cheapies in the WFB I can’t find nowhere near the value and points potential

How do you expect to win a competition about scoring the most points by focusing on scoring the most points?

    Team list Sunday...

Cleary has finally made it into my team as a captain. He is hard to ignore and means I have got lean with my supercows.

I like it! The only consideration would be Alvaro or Farmoresilly, instead of Croker or Averillo. Averillo is the one I am less confident with but the potential is there as is the DPP.

    Turpin
    Welch, Asofa-Solomona, Paulo
    Fifita, Capewell
    (C)leary, Brooks
    Peachey, Bird
    Laurie, Papenhuyzen, Isaako

    Watson Lam Liddle Riki

    Croker Averillo, Utoikamanu, Niu

On the conversation of Fantasy with the girlfriend

Her: "So you pick players that are good? Why don't you pick the best ones?"

    Me: "There's a salary cap"

Her: "Ah right, he just scored is he in your team? Are you winning?"

    Me: "Nah."

Her: "... Are you good at this or nah?"

Also any bets I put on

    Her: "Are we winning?"

If I had to pick one of Welch, NAS and BS9 to benefit from the Storm news I agree it would be Welch. I think all three are risky though, all will benefit slightly, not sure if it's enough to pick them. Could easily be wrong. I picked BS9 in draft thinking this could potentially happen at some stage and also HG9 could be rested in rd 20 where yours truly is a dead cert to be finalist Very Happy

I'm on the Tino train. His perceived role is more long term than the Storm guys. If my perceptions are wrong however, will need to cut him promptly.

Re tino. I think if you/I/we pick him we need to be aware that if he has a run of tryless 45s that’s actually ok as if we are hoping for say a 55 average from him it’s likely to come from some mid to high 40 scores with the odd try scoring 70-80

His tryless games getting 50-60 minutes are in the high 30s / low 40s.

Same as any gun really. You pick a guy like Cook, Crichton, Cleary you have to be willing to ride out some lower scores, although their floor is higher than most. Someone like DCE, Taumalolo, Harris, Matterson, Carrigan could pull out an 80 in round 1 and you have to hold your nerve

Agreed. I'll be looking at his role. 45 points in 65 minutes, I'll be very happy, the points will come. 50 points including a try in two 20 minute stints would have me very concerned.

I’ve finally had a team which I haven’t changed since 2 days ago after changing every few hours for the past week. I’m happy with it until TLT smashes it.

    Turpin
    Welch BS9 Watson
    Dififita Angus
    Cleary Brooks
    Roberts Averillo
    Pappa teddy Hoy

    Liddle brailey riki Laurie

    Stephano Simpkin niu Iperemia.

Finally found a team I like with 5 guns 4 middies and 12 cows and best of all it doesn't have McCullough who kept sneaking his way back into my drafts the cheeky prick

This is obviously a sign there will be carnage on TLT

I think 65 minutes is optimistic. Arrow had more than 65 minutes only once last season (it was before Peachey took on the bench lock role) and averaged 56 minutes. Mofo likely to get his 60ish minute role again this season to be the biggest minute middle.

I can’t see him getting 65mins as Mofo plays pretty big minutes and Fifita and Proctor will play 80mins. Also Peachey plays reasonable mins off the bench.

Wallace is in good form as well.
