As well as being at risk to being dropped for Katoa/BMM, Curran is just not a great fantasy scorer.

Can handle average scores from a base price player, but not when its combined with poor job security

Wish they had just funded $100k for fantasy prizes

looks like its 5k a week and 10k end of season prize, pretty good. the 100k weekly will be lucky to go off.. maybe once or twice a season? i dunno. guess its no different to someone putting a $5 multi on 4 exact margins in a round. (the promoter is sportsbet, so they'd have done the math on that one)

unfortunately, a mini tipping comp is probably an easier way to attract new sportsbet users.

Concept is pretty cool and also pretty attainable. 5K for top tipster if jackpot doesn't go off.

I don't know how good his job security is. Pereira could easily nab a spot

My WFB are likely to be Teddy + Pappy + Laurie/Hoy

Don't want to downgrade teddy/Pappy, and don't think its worth upgrading  Laurie/Hoy

If Laurie doesn't make theteam, I'll consider other options, but not sure Ramsey is screaming out to be picked.

yeah fair enough personally ive started with ramsey in my squad and laure 18-21 pending TLT

    Mccuollugh
    lodge koala watson
    harris crighton
    cleary munster
    bird averillo
    moylan ramsey latrell
    brailey liddle turpin riki
    famasulli lam gosiewski laurie.

tbh looking at it i probably should drop munster and move lam into there and fix up those terrible wfbs. thoughts?

Who to choose between Faamausili and Alvaro.

Faamausili has a lower PPM but when starting perhaps more minutes. Even off the bench, you would imagine Alvaro would pump out 35-40. Both are priced at 22. How do they compare with Alverillo, who I would be trading one in for?

Will Alvaro get similar minutes as at Warriors? 22-41pts in 5 games 20-33 minutes. I've ignored the other games with less minutes

Comes across that Croft will be the first to have a crack in the halves.

Was just looking at Tupouniua's stats. Averages 34 tackles per game but only 43 pts when starting second row (priced 36). Strangely enough its his run metres that are pretty low.

Would be a big gamble that I probably won't take, but I do wonder if he can get his run metres up around/over 100m a game playing down Keary's edge + add a few more attacking stats.

Could be one of those ones that no one really looks at in pre season and ends up doing really well..

I keep giving him some thought truthfully. Awkwardly priced and will probably score appropriately but good job security for 3 months. Not the worst option.

In the trial he was doing Crichton style defending in the middle.

Playing around with ways to get Pap in, as he is the one guy missing from most of my drafts that I'm worried about starting without. Anyone want to weigh in on:

    a) Cook + Hopoate

    b) BS9 + Pap

BS9 may turn into Paulo with Brailey to hooker, but that's a decision for another time.

Hmmmm you've suddenly made me interested in Alvaro as an option looking into some stat research.

In games where he's played more than 30 minutes but less than 50 he's averaged 47 and 37 in seasons past plus the one game last year he played more than 30 minutes he got a score of 41.

He doesn't need a lot of minutes to score well over what he's priced at. I guess the only unknown is just whether he'll get those minutes or if he'll be one of those forwards Griffin only plays for 15 minutes which he has been known to do in the past.

Got a bit of a Coen Hess feel (when he was a good pick). Probably start scoring heaps of tries that no one rightfully expects to continue.

If Host gets a start in front of Keaon ??? He may get a gig in my squad, still not convinced he will start however.

I had him in a few of my earlier drafts.

The edge spot is his until Cordner comes back which is a while away. He'd have been training there all pre-season which he probably wouldn't have done before. I see the potential upside but it's the awkward price he's at which gets me.

I think he will start but think there might be better options. Probably first one I'd lose from my current team
