IDK about Turps to Tohu he's a lot of money reversed the trade got 333k back. He could still have money to make or score another low score

333k is a lot of money to sit on tho I could be using it in my side

There are only 13 players that have the same ownership now as at lockout (or more accurately, when I scraped stats for my BEs)

Everyone else  has been traded in or out by at least one person (There's been approx 1400 teams created since lockout so a lot of players would increase ownership through being added to a new team rather than being traded in)
But for some reason at least one person has brought Jai Whitbread into his team, but nobody wants to trade Luke Brooks in or out (or perhaps he is being traded in and out in equal numbers)

Can't seem to find any trades I like... would love to get some money in the bank but I don't think I can... Averillo and Moylan have some high-ish BE's whereas Lam and Turpin should make there's and Tino is set for a huge game against the cows.

So thinking only trade will be either Avo or Moylan to Schuster and bank a trade this week.

Turps to Teddy/Tofu or RTS to Teddy

Flipping and flopping between going 2 cows (Alvaro & Schuster) for Davey and Hetho; or bite the bullet and shift NAS out to pasture and go cow / sub-gun on the rise.
I'm looking at Schuster as he's got the footy skills IRL to make more $ than Alvaro.
But, the sub-gun paddock is a bit of a shit storm of potential.
Like most on here:
a) I. Pap - who's stepped up his game and is racking up points without any meat pies (yet)
b) JJ - solid, reliable and with JS to spare (this year's Yeo, who I missed last year)
c) Collins - just looks so strong and could be seeing a post-origin bump in his minutes/role
d) Keary - left-field pick, but if he keeps the kms up and his TA involvement, he's a gun in waiting at Half.

Any advice??

I wouldn't trade RTS. He'll have to do even more than he does already with CHT out.

I find that really really interesting in terms of Brooks. Very interesting.

It does make sense because as an owner there's no reason to trade him out yet, even if it's looking like it could happen sooner rather than later. And as a buyer, I don't think you'd be rushing out to buy him after last week's match with Doueihi back in the team and how that's going to affect Brooks' scores.

leaning towards b at the moment

I like your 2 cows option best.

Completely understand NAS to any of those other 4 as it's the same thing I'm contemplating with Matterson. So your guess is as good as mine on that chapter.

Nice options. I think I like A better. But I should warn you I still think Averillo can turn this thing around, so I could be severely misguided.

You don't like Davey/Lam to Schuster/Alvaro? Could be nice to build up a nice bank... but I do like the IPap option too.

What's interesting isn't so much that people aren't trading Brooks. Its that people are bringing in random noname NPRs that will never play first grade

Jirah Momoisea and Jenson Taumoepeau have gained owners.

Are there a bunch of auto-fill teams that get added every week? Do Fanhub autocreate teams to make sure all players have ownership for some sort of testing purposes?
Do they lie about ownership percentage on the site for some bizarre reason?
It confuses me sometimes.

I would imagine some players click autofill before doing their own team just to see what it looks like. Of those (more pre-season than now) some will never return.

I think this is what I’ll do. Don’t want to force something with the likes of SST, Lam or Milf, who are playable and could still be profitable. So I’ll probably go Moylan out. I actually think Moylan could make cash too, but he’s outside my top 17 and won’t make it as fast as Schuster, so I it’s think worth it.

I know in SuperCoach there's a pretty widely used tactic where people bring in dudes that will never play so as not to use extra cash on players that are not in their scoring side, and also so that these basement price players don't wreck their plans if they use the Captaincy loophole, which allocates your lowest scoring player's score into your overall score for the round.

So I wonder if maybe there's some people from Supercoach trying their hand at Fantasy this year and thinking this same tactic works here? Or similarly, in a year where I think there was literally one single $228K player available before the start of the season, I assume a few folk out there just picked at complete random a $228K player that might have given them the extra dollars to buy the likes of a Milford that they'd not have been able to afford otherwise?
