TU: yes you're an idiot for not starting with him
TD: no, don't be chasing points, get Moses instead

You'd want to have a pretty tall couch to hide behind with Dogs this week

At this rate probably going to play Origin. I'd definitely have him as 3rd WFB with the GK. Think there's a clear gap between Teddy/Ponga/Papenhuyzen and the rest, although with extra game MattNZ's boy To'o might sneak close enough to warrant keeping

3 upvotes to 8 downvotes. I find that a little surprising. It's a hard one mate. I think being so early in the season goes against you in that aspect. It is chasing points, but he looks red hot this year and you'd think can continue the good form. Not sure even how he is or how much he will be, but unless you have an alternate to counteract him, I'd bite the bullet I think.

However, I know last year when I skipped Ponga he put a banner and a lot of big scores which hurt. Towards the end I ended up paying overs and he shit himself the last few weeks. I would have had better results not getting him. So there's merit in both arguments really.

999 - a bit of a tough round. Traded out Tino. Tup with a 2. Milf, Liddle and Walker as EMG all scoring better than my picks in the 17. It could be worse though so I'll take it and run.

Wolfy is a much better fantasy player than me so read deep into his post.
I boiled it down though and say don’t chase points though. You knew pap could do this when you didn’t start with him, they won’t play Brisbane every week.

    Let's not go crazy now.

The more I think about it though, not getting him makes sense. If it takes Chewie off the path he was heading with his team and causes issues elsewhere, then maybe it's not worth it. If there is a relatively easy way to get him with funds available and someone needing upgrading, I think that's a different story. Depends on the sacrifices really.

Just cracked the 1100 this week and into rank 1450. Managed to avoid the carnage, played the wrong MID goat in Leniu. No urgent trades this week, although Brooks while scoring okay doesn’t have the role I wanted from him, looks sheepish and confused and delegating to Douiehi although has Cows at the old girl next week

I mean it's not really a bad result at all. Obv devastating they lose Pearce (despite it not being season ending), but Green is capable of playing his role. Hoy wasn't gonna be that important once KP gets back which could be next week, and Mann and Klem seem to be all good and may just miss one game. The Roosters seemed to have it much worse with both halves sustaining lengthy knee injuries last week. I reckon Knights can still go okay without Pearce to be honest

Pretty tough. Could potentially banner up again this week. Doubt he gets much cheaper over the season too so if you're gonna bite the bullet, might as well be now.

I do think there's a good chance he makes Origin again as a utility because Fittler is weird and he'll probably have 2 FBs on the bench with 2 CTRs
