I mean it's not really a bad result at all. Obv devastating they lose Pearce (despite it not being season ending), but Green is capable of playing his role. Hoy wasn't gonna be that important once KP gets back which could be next week, and Mann and Klem seem to be all good and may just miss one game. The Roosters seemed to have it much worse with both halves sustaining lengthy knee injuries last week. I reckon Knights can still go okay without Pearce to be honest
I guess so, I do rate Green. Barnett still carrying an injury too. How far off is Best? Even though the current CTRs doing a decent job anyway. I just think Pearce has been big part of their attacking success so far

Disclaimer I don't own Papy so I'm a little biased

I see trading in Papy this week as similar to grabbing Teddy last year in round 10 when everyone wanted him at peak price. Papy has probably had his highest score for the year (second highest score of all time you would hope it's his highest of the year) so by trading him in you have already missed the points, you are spending more cash than those that started with him and you are locking in the losses(both points and dollars) on whoever your POD was. My plan is to hold tight with team direction, hope he plays origin and the rest of my PODs can make up for what I'm missing

Thanks for the feedback lads, Papy will be close to 800k (60 points) this round, so it is a tough one. I have 414k itb so money is not a real issue... leaning toward Moses though, he's due for a try soon.

Just curious as to why you didn't start with Papi? What was your logic behind that decision. Did you load up on another position or something?

As cheap a cash cow as you're likely to get in the near future. Job security looks good. No real reason not to grab him.

Great post. I was one of the people who got teddy (and McCinnes) last year at the peak and he dropped back down to 650ish. WFB is notorious for some low scores eventually. Stay the course and keep looking at round 13

Just on Papy, I’m not sure I would rip my team up to get anyone in unless the trades made sense. If you can do it without selling a keeper or having to play a numpty in your 17 then go ahead but it can screw up your team balance for a while if you stretch to get him and that can be harder to come back from.

Me too. Surely he’s going to pump out a great score soon. Ball not really going down that way to him or nofo

Me too, was holding steady at rank 1400 thanks to him until Liddles try put an end to that (didn’t care that much as he was in my emergencies and I like $$$ as well)

He does look lost but beat his B/E this week and we have a nice draw for the next month, averaging 50+. I wouldn't trade him yet

Anyone who watched the Titans game can you help me out here. Was Peachy's lowish score because he was shifted out to the backs due to Don injury. Anyone notice any new defensive lineups after Fogarty and Don injuries.

    Thanks

I saw some upside to Papi with him taking on the goal kicking, but didn't expect him to step up as much as he did. It's a scary thing especially with some terrible teams in the comp.
It's crazy that he could score a similar try 4 times in 11 minutes...the broncos defense in the middle was awful.
At least the Dogs looked a bit better defensively this week.

    Thanks

Would have been on 25 after his first stint but he copped 2 really unlucky penalties.

When Fog went off, he came on on the left side in the halves. Didn't do any kicking and didn't really do anything. Didn't even really have to tackle. So yeah, he did bugger all in that second half.

You know what, maybe take my initial comment with a grain of salt. I paid top dollar for Peachey to sure up that position and needing a centre this week, it didn't work out....this week. I'm going to try and make a habit now for the rest of the year to not pay top dollar, look for alternates first. (I realise it's just one week and Peachey will be a top centre for the year.)
