Think it's best to hold trades. Wingers rarely keep high scores over time. Remember JAC circa 2018/19? If you do pull trigger, Raps would be my pick 100%

I’m probably doing the same trade. Lack of minutes and stalling Leniu to a 49 average SOS with job security and can make 200k at least

Do you want SOS because you think he will make $ or are you trying to force a trade? I’d wait and see which cheapies pop up as you’ve used a fair few trades already. Disclaimer: I’m a trade stinge.
Good point. I'm a serial trader lol but I think SOS has $200k in him, plus easily playable in 14-17. I'm worried about cash gen since I fked myself bringing Cleary in but it could be best to hold

So did some thinking on the way to work
The 3 players I have that I am not that happy with are BSmith,SST,Tupouniua

    Breaking them down

Tupouniua - Was flying and the tries helped, probably would have made it to 650k but the 2pts HIA killed his short term cash generation. Some bad luck but this happens sometimes
Doesn't play rd 13 so would have to hold the next bye to justify his spot
Base is 45-50 and needs a try to go above this, based on 50pts over next 3 weeks he holds his price
so while not an essential trade out is neither a keeper or earner with a ?? over if he plays this week due to HIA (I have no 2rf cover)

BSmith Looks a 45pt base player without tries, similar to above but at a higher price
Similar situation, needs tries but with Grant/Finucane back soon who knows what role he plays
At lock he probably scores similar based on history, off the bench slightly less
So was worth a gamble early on, unsure if worth holding for the bye with unknown role
Could bleed 100k if reverts to interchange while the alternative MID player earning could do the opposite and that doesn't help you get to the keeper

SST Has been steady if not consistent but missing those big games he is capable of
Holding his price, averaged 57 last year (Over 50mins) without goal kicking and the roosters down on troops so still capable of a big score with decent mins.
Doesn't play first bye but isn't an urgent sell either, just got to treat him like a Taupau and trust the average

Tino Compare them to say a popular player like Tino averaging 48 without tries to start the year
Looks to have taken the Fotuaika role from last year, though a middle position of 60mins but doesn't really matter the number on the back
Priced 100k less than above, but chance he plays the bye though probably plays origin (for simplicity let’s say he does)

Cloudy as some people got burnt trading out, while others (majority owners) would argue you are chasing the last score
Without bias looking at him on a decent sample, 51pts average 60 minute player so there will be ups and downs but paying for that average with some upside he scores a try

The question is do I trade BSmith to Tino or trade Tupounia to Fifita this week (100k ITB left) and not think about this anymore as tempting as it looks haha

If he bangs out a 70 this week, the BE is going to mean another solid increase. I see what u mean though. Even Cheese could be  a Tino option in my squad...

    Current team upside:

    - 14 playable round 13 options (JBrailey, Watson, Tups, Riki, Fogs, Brooks, Momo, R.Smith, Laurie, Tohu, Turpin, Schuster, Walker, Liddle)

    Current team downside:

    - Lots of halves, including two who are playing round 13 (Fogs/Brooks) so don't really have room/justification to get in Moses. Wicked discount for a great player, but I'd have to trade Brooks or Fogarty to him, which while an upgrade, doesn't feel amazing (trading out a healthy round 13 guy).

ATM just considering holding trades for the next couple of weeks until the next juicy pickup appears. Team is Cleary/Fifita-less however based on the team's averages I should be getting ~990 points each week which is ok. I'll make my move around origin me thinks.

    Current Team:

Being Fui is currently in my EMG would it be a waste of trade to move him to Peachy who would replace Niu dropping him back to EMG? Solidifies my CTR assuming Peachy is up to it.

    Haha cheers mate.

Maybe I'll hold him and if anything the thoughts should be on MID and not a Wfb swap. Which in turn brings ideas of Cheese to Tino.   Fuck conundrums, albeit positive ones hey !

Since everyone is posting their teams here's mine before trades & I'll be making no trades 82k bank:

    J. Brailey
    Angus, Watson, Tino
    Fifita, Tupouniua
    Cleary (c), Schuster
    Momirovski, Roberts
    Tedesco, Pappy, Laurie

    Turpin, Liddle, Riki, Sam Walker
    Utoi, Alvaro, Niu, Simonsson

If that Walsh fella plays for the Warriors in future weeks Simonsson to Walsh will be tempting.

    Great team. Save trades

Walsh might be a good Cash Out but would need an injury for him to get picked

Think you can wait a week on trading out BS9 considering Grant isn't meant to play this week no?

You run the risk of Tino going boom again, but I think its more likely he gets a 40-50 than another 65-80.

    (Tino owner)

Depends on cash reserves as well I suppose. Booze I'd be focusing more on getting in Fifita than getting out BS9.

Probably. But I'm more inclined to look at round 13 players that don't play Origin. Tino is definitely playing Origin.

Food for thought for you is that Brimson probably plays Origin too.

Tino scores somewhere in the middle he goes up 50k
The Tino big score is what pushes the urgency of BS9, not necessarily BS9 pushing it
So it’s either bring him in this week or not at all and that’s the decision

The next tier up like Haas will take a few more weeks to bring in and the other bye targets are still losing cash so they can wait too

Fifita is an easier decision and both players are fun to watch which is what I am here for this year

That said I'm still leaning Tino. Didn't start with him but after round 1's mins I was worried as a non owner. Think he's ripe to pump out a few more big scores over the coming weeks, just don't like it as its another origin player, but origin is 9 games away.
