Just checked a few stats and they are different across basically every category. So VSDT must have changed their stats provider.

But people complaining about Cleary ghost points is one thing - giving Dufty a try that never happened is something else. Imagine if Fantasy or Supercoach did that.
VSDT is lucky that they have no playerbase, but what happens if someone wins a cash prize on the back of something like that.

I've just sent a query through their site to see if they will fix up scores.

A couple of years ago Fantasy deducted points from players for missing shots at penalty goal (not actually a scoring penalty) and they never fixed it up. For some reason was only missed penalties and not missed conversions (I'm guessing it came from soccer scoring where missed penalties are a thing), so only impacted 1 or 2 players.

VSDT are really good about fixing errors. I'd say they will fix that one as soon as its brought to their attention.

Milch - on Q2) can you clarify what the matchup will be for Haas. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to that sort of thing in terms of league positions. Cheers in advance.

I still believe Milford can play a part in this side. Dont think it will be next week though.

Gotta hope they can push on from there. A win next week in Darwin would be fantastic

It's amazing what simply completing your sets and kicking on the last can do. Broncs did well with the basics, their defensive structure still needs some work, but good on them making the top team work for the victory.

I'd probably keep kms but make kicking it dead an error for -2.

    That'd placate the non-cleary owners - he'd have only scored 122.

FYI Just checked up, and VSDT scoring is using Champion data, everything matched up for the games I checked

    https://mc.championdata.com/nrl/

Champion correctly got Matt Dufty scoring 2 tries last week so the error is at the sportsdeck end.

IMO the game needs less scoring categories, not more.

You don't need to try and award fantasy points for every single thing that happens on the football field.

I'd happily trade some of the current stats categories (or even just reduce the value of TBs/TOs) in exchange for post-contact metres being a category. It's my favourite stat for actually telling how effective a player is IRL.

Drop metres entirely as a stat and have post contact be 1 point every 5 metres. Less likely to see someone with 100 post contact metres than you are with 200 total metres

Just plugged 60 average on MTB's site (which is probably ambitious) and it's around 50k over next 3 weeks, so it'd still be a while before cash starts coming in

BEs also probably a little higher in reality as well.

Pointless plugging it in now as will change after lockout and be much more favourable in BE and cash generation

If only your site had a feature that showed what a 3 week average would do to his price point before he played this week

Is that different from NRLF? The used to use the same. Kinda annoying if they dont now...

I think the penalty try has stuffed things up somehow...

If there is higher scoring across the round does that mean

    a) player that get higher than their BE go up more and players that get below their BE drop more
    b) player that get higher than their BE go up more and players that get below their BE drop less
    c) player that get higher than their BE go up less and players that get below their BE drop more
    d) player that get higher than their BE go up less and players that get below their BE drop less

Remember when a gun player was anyone who averaged over 55 and a top tier gun was anyone who averaged over 60. Also remember when most of the team of the week scored in the 60s with some higher and some lower, now you can score 70+ and not make the team of the week
