Also what do we think the odds are of dearden to cowboys mid season as I’m deciding between Walsh and Hampton this week

    Seems sound.

I still don't think Dearden goes early. There's no real benefit I feel for him to go there early. It's not like he's a major step up from both Hampton and Drinkwater. Doesn't seem like a player they would rush to put in right away.

I was at the game and was screaming for him to pass it out wide where we had 2 on 0 and he swung it back inside. Wasn't happy!

Yeah the Chambers one was at the 77th minute, but had another couple of shots in the dying seconds and Hampton did indeed seem to fuck it up that time.

Ah yeah, I always get my Burtons and Mays mixed up, just like my Suttons and Youngs. Similar roles as each other and show flashes now and then.

Re. Chambers.. If it helps, it was his lack of an inside ball to Cronk at the death in the grand final that all but sealed the Sharkies premiership, unless my memory is whack.

Yeah I have players like that, I continually get mixed up.

I hear u re Chambers, but my memory of the 2016 GF is written in stone as a steely defense, a herculean Fifita try and Barba brilliance, I'll hear nothing else and take it to my grave.

Up against Storm in his first game back too! Storm 1-12 @ $3.60 seems like great money. Sharks v Storm games are always slogfests plus our defence has been pretty scrappy lately, letting in just under 14 points a game this year is unheard of for us.

13+ I'd say Stormy, really feel this one coming. Despite our record this year, we have been pretty gud under the circumstances, but imo this week look ripe for a belting.

Wasn't it Smith, or was he alongside Hampton ?

Kind of having second thoughts about Walsh and thinking about Curran instead. I do have enough cover this week if Tedesco is out (means playing Roberts though) and who knows what Walshs role will be when CHT comes back. Means a bit less money in the bank and Curran does have a bit of competition for his spot but he will be a much more consistent scorer.

12 minute mark... we make a break, ball gets tossed out to Hampton (shit pass from Smith), if he turns and passes to Cheyse Blair he pegs it back and dives for the corner.

Nah I thought we are talking about the last play of the game, where it went left and looked likely also, but came back right

Sorry for the derailment lads Laughing

Smith threw a cutout ball to the left that dropped at Hampton's feet, Hampton cuts back in-field without looking at the unmarked players on his left and goes back to Smith to Cronk to Koro who dies with it.

The Chambers one I was referencing he kicked for himself on the 4th, regathered and took the tackle with a wide open Cronk on his inside.

No derailment, this is who we are.

Unsure whether to trade in Hampton or Walsh this week?

Hampton scoring really well at CTR, is this sustainable? I could play Hampton at WFB this week and then move him to CTR when Pappy is back meaning I can shunt the Jet to NPR

Walsh looks like a great cow and could put up a decent score again this week. Trading him in means I have to keep playing Roberts for the foreseeable future

19 pages and i havent seen a single person trading in a 70+ ave, r 13 number at 11% ownership..

Going for points this week. Skipping Walsh with too many wfbs already

    Paps - Mahoney
    Turpin - TPJ

Only immediate trade on the horizon barring injury will be a straight swap of Welch to teddy in a few..

Team this week (benching walker/laurie due to ownership %):

    Brailey
    TPJ Angus Watson
    Fifi Sitilli
    Moses Cleary
    Critter Avo
    Ponga Turbo Issako

    Bench: Mahoney Simpkin Shuster Welch
    NPR: Walker Laurie Alvaro Deitz

    Good luck all!

Anyone think it's worth holding Turpin one more week? Would just rather hold him one week too many than sell one week early, lest he become another Croker.

Surely that 40/40 split was an anomaly due to the humidity. I know it's Kev, but that can't seriously be the plan...

Mahoney is a good pick but he is an absolute premium. Blokes average is inflated by a 109 and 91 where he has tries in both, 0 missed tackles, 3 line breaks, etc... not saying he can't get there but I see him settling around that 53-70 point mark to round out the year.

Don't forget Levi's 4 missed tackles and 3 errors. Bloke is not an NRL footy player. I am holding Turpin with the hope it was an anomaly due to the Darwin weather and the fact Levi is surely dropped after this week or at least only finds 20-25 minutes.
