@StormTrooper96 Fair points, i was tempted by Api but think mahoney has shown enough improvement this year to keep it up and has a friendly draw.

I just think people going macca this week should re assess as there could be an extra 60 points in mahoney from now until r 13 plus what ever after that..

Worry is origin but im fairly certain it will be 9. Grant 14. Hunt. Dont think mahoney adds enough off the bench

At this stage I need a WFB + a CTR to get Roberts out of my 17, so thinking Niu + Moylan to Walsh + one of Bird/Hampton/SCrichton.

Who would you take out of those three?

I’ll probably hold Turpin this week, a repeat of last week sees him lose a manageable 20k. So not end of the world stuff.

Might not trade at all actually

Surely that 40/40 split was an anomaly due to the humidity. I know it's Kev, but that can't seriously be the plan...

I'm staying well away from any Broncos now.

Next week Turpin could be benched, he could be the sole hooker or he could be playing in the halves. The only certainty would be Haas is going to remain a gun but otherwise no more Broncos for me.

I’d love to hold but I’ll only do it if Levi is not in the 17.
I can wait until final team list before making my planned trades.

First time looking into trades for the week and here are my trade out notes:

James Roberts – BE40, plays R13, is a playing centre, previous pedigree, due a breakout game?
Jake Turpin – BE52, averaging 51.3, plays R13, decent scores if 60+ minutes, Levi surely doesn’t stick around or eat into his minutes?
Stefano Utoikamanu – BE32, Averages 36.9, plays R13, averaging 38.2 off the bench
Spencer Leniu – BE34, averages 31.7, plays R13, minutes have gone down every week since R1, only way is up? Great player.
Corey Jensen – BE32, averages 38, plays R17, POD, McLean having hammy issues, Cowboys in form.
Matt Moylan – BE27, plays R17, averaging 30.8. Named in reserves, needs a good game to go 30+, small floor and can’t loop this week.

Out of this list I think Moylan is a definite cash out and has probably peaked. Maybe then Leniu and Jensen? Don’t really feel like spending 500K+ on a centre at this time of year.

Trade In list looks like this:

Reece Walsh – No R13, cow
Ben Hampton – No R13, Dearden on the move? Sustainable?
Sam Verrils – No R13, cow
    Payne Haas - Origin
Mitch Moses – R13, maybe origin?
    Brian To’o – R13, gun, maybe origin?
    Api Koroisau – R13, gun

Currently have 11 R13 players pre trades:
    Brailey
    Ipap Watson Uto
    X X
    X Fogarty
    Bird Roberts
    Laurie X X
    Turpin Simpkin Leniu X

Hmm, if I sell Leniu + Moylan instead of Niu + Moylan, I could afford Walsh + Lomax

Is he still an option this year? Coming off a 13, but plays R13, POD among the top 2,000 (just 48 own him as of R6) and Tigers x2 + Bulldogs in his next 5.

    Kinda tempting.

Very tempting... wouldn't be surprised if he is in and around the Origin chat but. Freddy loves him and got crucified for not picking actual centres last year.

Alright I know I'm scraping rock bottom here hahha, but who would you guys rather play in your 17 out of Roberts and Simonsson. I'm kind of leaning towards Roberts but need some thoughts:

    TU: Roberts
    TD: Simo

Centres are probably going to be Latrell and Turbo. Latrell is in the type of form that demands selection and he is an experienced centre. Tommy T has killed it in the centres previously, if he's fit he'll be there.

Don't forget Levi's 4 missed tackles and 3 errors. Bloke is not an NRL footy player. I am holding Turpin with the hope it was an anomaly due to the Darwin weather and the fact Levi is surely dropped after this week or at least only finds 20-25 minutes.

All valid points but if Turpin is no longer an 80 minute hooker, his job is done. Not a keeper if not playing 80 and not going to make any more coin.

Turpin + Moylan to Walsh + Macca?

Means giving Roberts another week in the 17...
