Probably the safest strategy.

Other trade in is Haas.
Probably not. Unless you have big plans for the leftover cash.

There’s 2 70s and a 124 in that average and rocketed his price, I’m fairly confident he will drop some cash before R18, a 60 average makes him lose around $100,000 not sure that’s too unreasonable although there’s been another case this year where I’ve been waiting for an Uber gun to lose money without much luck also....
I reckon the Papy trade makes a lot of sense. If you trade him for another gun, its only costing you one trade to bring him back in - and getting you a bunch of points on the field. Any cash made is a bonus.
Of course its fantasy, and therefore almost guaranteed to go wrong.

I’d rather keep Ted instead of losing value on him. I’m stock marketing Papy, sell high, buy back lower hopefully

Mate, Wolfy gave you advice after you begged for it. You asked clarifying questions about it, he reassured you. You then proceeded to ignore his advice and keep rambling about how your struggling to decide and you're panicked etc.
I know you're going through a tough time, but when you ask for help and don't accept it, don't be surprised when people stop offering. It's just not worth their time.
FWIW I agree with Wolfy/Welshy: Turpin+Papy > Moses+To'o
I agree with Wolfie. Turpin to Moses and Papy to To'o/Edwards. Good for the bye round. Moses at discounted price too.

I have spent 2 trades at CTR/WFB. One was for a lock and the other for a half. I feel like I’m doing it right. Peach, Roberts, Laurie, Brimson could possibly be my backline for 13.

The high floor guys that don't play like traditional players in the position are an exception
Peachey at centre, Doueihi at WFB. Still think To'o has a 20 in him by the nature of the position, but red hot form getting 20 touches a game it doesn't look like being the next few weeks

This is my thinking as well. I am expecting Papy to lose a enough cash to get him back in. And if he doesn't, I'm confident in raising the funds to get him back.
The post-origin games are against the Warriors, Roosters and Knights.
It wouldn't surprise me to see him rested or, even better, given 50mins against the Warriors. If the Roosters decide to rest Teddy then it's not out of the questions that Bellamy will rest Papy. For these two teams in particular, rest/precaution has taken priority over big games in the past. With Hynes getting some good first grade run over the next few weeks, I just think Papy rest is going to be something Bellamy is more comfortable with.

Yep. As I said before, Hynes is a more than adequate replacement.

FWIW My trades this week:
Papy to Ponga
Chad to Moses
Holding Turpin for one week and eating the 20k-30k drop. He becomes Koro next week.

Think I'll have to let Haas go through to the keeper until at least round 14.
Need a decent chunk of cash to grab McCullough and Koroisau before round 13 plus will probably want to splash some cash on Matterson to round out the round 13 captaincy options
Assuming they are options for Munster, Welch and Turbo, the gap is currently 360k but thankfully Matterson and Koroisau are going the other way

Current Walsh situation poll!
Facts:
Huge potential, playing in the halves for you'd guess atleast 3 weeks or so.
Brown has openly said he wont play him each week.
Once and for all, for everybody sitting on the Walsh fence:
TU: He's worth the risk, bring him in.
TD: He's not worth the risk, wait un til CHT's back.

Same here. I've brought in Hampton and am bringing in Brimson this week.Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:

My backline for Rnd 13 looking like:
Momo Reimis
Laurie Brimson
Pretty shit, but as MS suggested, I'm going to be happy with 4/5 and focus more on the other positions for Rnd 13. Like everyone else, Moses/Haas/Koro on my radar for the next few weeks.

You're bouncing between ideas that are all reasonable moves, and others have given their opinions already. I don't want to suggest which way you should go, have it backfire, and then I feel bad for being the one that pushed you in that direction. I'm in a similar situation, and I'm really not sure what trades I'm going to make yet as it is.

He's super hot according to MTB's site. Over 15%

Same with me. Head says grab 2 round 13 guys, but it's hard to pass up CHN who was previously a mid 600k guy when starting on the edge
