Ownership doesn't come into it for me. If 52% of people make the wrong decision that gives me a leg up

For what it's worth a similar percentage started with Tino and we saw how that turned out

The frustration for me was getting Verrills instead who is now injured for an extended period.

Egan and Alvaro are in a funny spot where they do play R13 so hold that value, but are borderline as to whether their points/money warrant holding for another few weeks.

Suppose it depends how many other fires there are to put out.

BUT they also said they wouldn't do full lockdowns anymore and then they did the 3 day lockdown with half a days warning.. for one bloody case.. so who fkn knows.

the problem with the Sydney case yesterday, is so far they don't know where it came from. No links to quarantine/returned travellers yet so there's going to be more cases out there. With people basically forgetting about the virus in the past month there'd be tonnes of people with cold/flu symptoms who just ignored it and carried on as normal.
These snap 2/3 day lockdowns seem to work so I wouldn't be opposed to it if the alternative is weeks of being cautious about everything again.

Who are the most connected to the Warriors here? I used to follow them really closely, but now less so, and I havent heard much on the radio about Walsh. My gut tells me there is much chance as anything that Walsh ends up on the bench after this week. RTS clearly needs to be at FB, the club seem tied to Niko at half, and CHT has big wraps and was starting to look very good in early parts of this season and last.

I know this kid Walsh looks like he is gonna be a gun, and he has done great so far, but he is pretty raw, and very young. Cant help but think Brown will look to start his more established players and give the kid time to grow without heaping too much pressure on him.

Keen to hear from people that are more in the loop as Im interested in picking him up in VSDT (a no brainer trade in over in that comp, so long as he starts - but if he doesnt, would be a bum move)

Brown saying walsh needs a rest is the same dribble he has been saying since he has arrived I believe they will give him a week off the bench here and there and the big games we probably won't win they might decide to give him a break there but given his break even and the impact he has made and the warriors spot on the ladder I think the breaks will be few and far between especially while there are still so many injurys

Verrills is rough I nearly got him last week but landed on CHN. Verrills would have been in for me this week

Egan is probably staying in my team for a little bit. Apart from the Storm game and the first game where he got injured he has scored between 44-50 every week. It isn't bad for someone at his price at this point.

Warriors train about 5 minutes from my house. Might pop down today and hope to catch them

If you can upgrade or cash out, I wouldn't be holding them.

I was going to trade Munster prior to Round 13 anyway - so with his high BE (73) would it make sense just to flick him now if I’m able to?

    Yeah agree on this.

In EPL everyone is obsessed with "effective ownership" (ownership factoring in double captain points and benching decisions) to the point where I feel a lot of hardcore players let the fear of what their opponents might score override making the best decision for their actual team.

Ownership is a useful tool - now that it's stratified to meaningful levels and not just overall ownership - but shouldn't be the main part of a decision IMO. I definitely wouldn't be concerned at 52% ownership for a borderline starting 17 player.

I'm way more concerned at Fifita 99.5% and missing the boat on that one haha

When people say Walsh was training at 14, how can you tell? Does he sit on the bench at training?

    I don't really like trading a guy averaging 57 who isn't injured.
