I also don’t mind the idea of trading him to a Lomax like player after R13. With Jensen being named to start prop for Blackhawks I could cash him out as well…looking at Starling with the Raiders kafuffle but don’t really want to go anywhere near a Raider at the moment.

    Have the following options:

    a) Roberts > Cini + 154K + bank a trade (loop Jensen)
    b) Jensen > Cini + 319K + bank a trade (loop Roberts) + Keep Roberts for insurance if he comes back in over Cini/other
    c) Roberts > Cini + Jensen > anyone 605K or under
    d) Jensen > 574K anyone but preferably a centre to cover Roberts.

    Here is team for context:
    Brailey
    Crichton Papalii Watson
    Schuster Fifita
    Cleary Moses
    Bird Roberts
    Teddy Laurie Turbo

    Simpkin Moses Walker Walsh
    Leniu Uto Jensen Pappy

    123K 24(2) – have banked 3 trades so far I think.
I’d go d, and take your pick of whichever centre you prefer as a keeper.
You won’t gain much cash from trading Roberts and he’s probably worth more to you as a red dot.

Currently tossing up between S Crichton and Averillo.

I like Averillo more from a fantasy standpoint as he gets the consistent kick metres and has taken on more responsibility after those disastrous opening 3 rounds. However Crichton has the WFB DPP which could be very valuable and plays Round 13. His scores without tries don't thrill me though.

I think if it's purely a long-term CTR for the season, Averillo is a better call. Crichton scoring a 33 last week with a try, and you're gambling on tries going forward (there will be tries at Panthers, but Crichton did score zero in R1-6 for instance, so they might not go to him). Whereas I feel like Averillo has base not far off 33 just with his KMs and tackles.

But the WFB DPP and playing 13 does make it more interesting.

9 of my 13 trades going into this round have been for players who had a red dot.
It's ridiculous that we only have 34 trades. When you're using 70% of your trades on red dots there's no room to make a solid plan and execute it.
I'd like to see 2-4 more trades that can be used as wildcards whenever you want to use them that way if you're team gets decimated by injury you can address it without screwing your other plans.

Shit I’m going to be sensible and just trade in a DPP CTR/WFB.
Owning both Momo and Papy at least this gives me an option in case one doesn’t return, lookin at you Momo.

How would you rank Crichton, Herbie, Hunt. Can’t think of anyone else?

    Thoughts on Kelly vs Farnworth?

If I get Lucy or TPJ as planned, then I'm slightly short of Crichton, so those are the best two I can afford.

Farnworth has dual but I'm just worried about getting another Bronco.

A few people were high on Kelly pre-season, and he's managed to avg 33 so far without any tries and minimal attacking stats. Spot should be very secure too, which is a big plus.

Thinking with where I'm ranked I might go TPJ + Kelly and chase the attacking upside.

I looked at Kelly yesterday. Think he might be the best option below Crichton. Unless you want to go really cheap and get BJ.

Shame for Hampton, may have finally found a consistent role in a team and that happens.

I wonder if it's Dearden in Townsville time?

I'm assuming he is on his way, not named in Q CUP this week.

I've fixed the BE's on footystatistics.com so that it ignores reserves or any interchange players that don't get on the field.

What’s to stop remiss smith scoring 30+? With his BE at -16 30+ is enough considering he plays in r13 and probably has best JS besides Crichton who could play origin there’s no real other options available? Or am I missing something obvious?

Have decided that trading is over rated, and I don’t care that my centre are shit. Can’t see a need to rush players in from here, minus dumping Roberts at some stage.

    Brailey
    JFH, Watson, Ipap
    Fifita, chrichton
    Cleary, Moses
    Bird, averilo
    Teddy, turbo, Laurie

    TPJ, schuster, walker, Curran

    Walsh, Simpkin, Roberts, papy.

Have I missed anything? Reckon I can sit on this for a few weeks pending injury obviously.

That without tries he generally struggles to get to 20 points

If that happens tonight, you can kiss that negative BE goodbye..... possibly

    He's scored an 8, 23, 23, 16 without tries this season.

I can use Roberts to loop Leniu, so may as well I guess.

Who else to put in the loop out of Simpkin and Stefano?

I feel gross about bringing in a bronco again but I'm strongly considering Verrills to Gamble.. Staggs surely just plays centre the rest of this year, not sure this is a very appealing time for him to jump in the halves and Milf and Gamble seemed to work pretty well.

Should make good coin and play rd13. Anyone else rolling the dice?

Broncos halves have coin goats written all over it. Plus, you’d have to cheer for a broncos player/team success. Is that what you really want?
