As for Aubo I decided to have a look at his scores for games last year in which he started in the back-row and played the 80 minutes. I got 50, 56, 37, 38, 61 and 39 with a 52 and 41 when he played 70 minutes. There's always the risk of him being shifted around that's for sure but if he does start in the back-row he has his upsides.

This talk of Tapine is making me re-think Rochow who I already have my doubts on because of such a small number of games he played last year to get a proper read on. I mean I'll pick neither of them if Whitehead starts for the Raiders but I'm in a bit of a dilemma now.

The greenhouse forum is say Junior Paulo has signed for the Raiders from 2017 & Tapine is more or less a done deal to sign as well. Tapine is a no go now.

Doesnt make sense (not saying its not true or anything). The Raiders backrow is stacked.

Who takes up the bulk of kms for the Eels this year?
or is it likely to be split between Foran and Norman?

Papalii playing front row? Fan forums are also usually very positive about any signings so I wouldn't say its a done deal just yet.Bren wrote:

papalii was average at prop in the first few rounds but when they moved him back to the right edge he was killing it. i'd be pretty surprised if they moved him back to prop again

I thought that was the plan this year.
Vaughan - Papalii
Whitehead - Fensom - Soliola
Boyd - Lima - FPN

Soliola plays prop before Papalii IMO

Apparently about bolstering the roster. Also as Papalii, FPN & Soliola are getting older. The Tapine signing they reckon it was to keep Fensom honest & to create pressure on him to be more productive especially on attack.

Grahamm = 50, Carter/Pauli = 25 = 75
Lawrence = 30, Cartwright = 50 = 80
I like Lawrence & Cartwright MS

Papalii going to prop was what fantasy fans want so that Elliot Whitehead becomes a good fantasy pickup.
Don't confuse what fantasy players want for their teams, with what NRL coaches will want in their attempt to win actual games of footy. I don't tihnk there has been anything out of STuart/the Raiders that suggests Papalii will actually move to prop. All just fan supposition

i think it would also make more sense to move soliola to FRF instead of paps.
whats whitehead's workrate like in defense? bit of googling says he's very dangerous in attack. not sure if i could take the risk at his price.

How much money should I keep in the bank at the start of the season? Or should I spend every dollar?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 5
I reckon Papalii is an excellent option in the frf as he's dpp & plays 80 & he's only 400k. A guaranteed 45-50 each week before extras. that's comparable to some more expensive options.

Dependant on where they play Myles. I see the front row pecking order beingRandom wrote:What are peoples thoughts on B. Lawrence (Minutes + Potential Score)
Trbojevic
Myles
Lawrence
Lussick
Starling
Burgess
With Myles a chance to play in the back row, especially after Buhrers injury, I can see Lawrence playing at least 40 mins, up to 60. Not sure on his ppm but imagine it's pretty good.
In the nines he looked rusty but very keen to get involved.
He's in my side at present.

Has anyone seen this: http://www.nrl.com/mcqueen-firms-as-titans-centre-option/tabid/10874/newsid/92733/default.aspx
McQueen could be spending time in the centres.
