Moylan will wear the #1 this weekend but will spend some time playing in the HLFs. I look forward to seeing how he goes.

Matt Moylan will wear the no.1 for the Panthers this weekend but will spend 20 minutes playing in the halves
sounds like griffin is carrying his decision making ability over to the panthers.

Think it's Charity Shield, then All Stars. For us in NZ, it's the Warriors too making a triple header.

My understanding was that they were changing this to make it more cut and dried. Fanhub shit me to tears, they have no understanding of league and worse still from my dealings with them have no understanding of the rules of their own comp.Milchcow wrote:
I think that was just for Barba specifically, rather than a blanket rule for all players (if we are basing this on Lone Scout's facebook page, it was referring only to Barba)
There is no actual "rule" over making someone DPP. Fanhub just have their own guidelines, but they can break them whenever they want to if they feel like it.

Cheers guys, just checked and yes the charity shield is on live at 5.30pm followed by Warriors trial, both on fox. Couldn't find the details before because I didn't look at the early timeslot

Both trials look to be pretty lopsided with both Souths & Titans putting out pretty crap teams. Worth a watch though I suppose.

St George are still paying $1.60, which seems generous when you look at the lineups each team's put up.

Hey gents,
Having come from supercoach where you've got the time to make adjustments to your team before players start moving is it necessary to leave room in the cap for these changes or just go for it? The difference I've got left could let me turn Mooper into Surgess or ARey into SJ but not sure if im better to leave it as that buffer

I personally don't believe in the buffer, though it does make sense to have it especially now with Round 1 price jumps.
With that said I would definitely do M. Cooper to S. Burgess that should be a decent upgrade. I wouldn't think of even picking up S. Johnson yet anyway. He usually has a slow start to the year and his price drops dramatically at stages.

Any thoughts on Aitken and Dugan, how do their potential position changes affect their scores?
I'm looking at having a gun centre next to all the cashcows

I'm a fan of keeping some cash in reserve. With prices changing every week they aren't as dramatic as Supercoach/Dreamteam though so you don't need a huge kitty.ryzo90 wrote:Hey gents,

Hmmmm well I would of thought with Dugan moving to centres he's a no go but upon review of how he went in 2014 he scored 9 tries in 12 appearances at centre. I don't have precise fantasy scores but going purely on stats in one game against Canberra where they broke the hoodoo I estimate he got around 52 points including a try and 5 tackle breaks, in a game against Penrith where he didn't score a try I calculated around 21 including 4 missed tackles and only 55 running metres but that was a bad game. Essentially at centre his tackle count goes up but his metre making goes down. His attacking stats like offloads and tackle breaks are still okay, unlikely to break 10 tackles at centre on a recurring basis like he could at FB but still solid stats. After all that I'll just say Dugan will be a solid high 30's to low 40's scorer on a consistent basis at centre but way too overpriced for now.
As for Aitken his tackle counts will go down a lot and that's a good chunk of his points. He might score more tries and potentially be one of those big metre gaining wingers but it's a risky proposition.
