i will almost definitely slot Barba into a WFB spot when he's named #1. but fuck its a pain not being able to just stick him there now. just give him DPP now, please.

Latest Fantasy dilemma, I was tossing up leaving Jake Trbojevic out of my team and putting Bryce Cartwright in instead. What way would you lean towards in this situation?
Jake T looked appealing for a while to me but I noticed his higher scores were inflated by tries with his one other big score off stats alone coming off the back of playing 60+ minutes. Last year's form shouldn't really factor into it much as he's still young and could have a breakout year but currently it looks like he'll be a mid 40's scoring player if he doesn't get the minutes. Meanwhile Cartwright is just as much a chance at taking it to the next level and his potential attacking stats would be massive. However his minutes are a mystery too and I wouldn't be surprised if Griffin decided to use Cartwright as impact off the bench.

highest for JTurbo with all the additions to the Manly pack is around the 45 point mark IMO mate

Cartwright has the potential to go massive, he seems to have developed further and even if his gametime doesn't increase he could still go above the 40 he averaged last year, if he gets the 80 minutes then look out because he should enter the elite GUN territory

Carty for me mate, based on potential to go massive

I think cartright is definitely the better option of the two, but as you say, griffin's coaching tactics are a potential hazard.

i think J TRBO will be a 40-45 pt player.

could be wrong, but the match he got 60 odd mins i'm pretty sure they were smashed with injuries.

Problem is he won't be named at Centre first week, and will fill in at half the first week (think Brooks is suspended for 1 game), so would only be available in halves until playing four games at centre.

Way to go Segeyaro. A great strategy to secure your playing security by pissing off the coach. lol!

Seems kind of stupid that they change it for rd 1 but if you don't get a game until rd 2 you have to wait 4 weeks, makes no sense to me.

I think Turbo could be a trap, the manly pack is a hell of a lot stronger than last year.

Were there any issues with him when he was at the Cowboys? It seemed really strange that they let go of him at the time.

no idea. i was pointing more to the things that have been said about griffins coaching style while at the broncos. segey comes across as someone who doesnt fit the griffin mold at all.

He is already a half and will be named at half in rd1 because Brooks is out. Would be better if he just got named at centre rd 1 where he will be playing hopefully, would be a lot easier to have him there, be a far better option than copely or someone like that. Now will have to wait till round 5 before I can have him in the centres.

I currently have Smith & Segeyaro as my 2 hookers but now I might discard Segeyaro & go old school with Farah or the future with Macca. I'm sort of joking with Farah but since Macca is one of my favourite players because he plays like a backrower with all the defense he does I'm probably going to switch.

I think that was just for Barba specifically, rather than a blanket rule for all players (if we are basing this on Lone Scout's facebook page, it was referring only to Barba)

There is no actual "rule" over making someone DPP. Fanhub just have their own guidelines, but they can break them whenever they want to if they feel like it.
