Does anyone think D Lui will have an effect on the saints round one team? Apparently Mary said he was a standout in the 9's. I didn't see any of the 9's so I wouldn't know haha

Thoughts on sacrificing a reserve to be a 134k type player to update someone to a Parker or Fifita or is two mid rangers better value?

Nice to see you found some internet over there mate Very Happy . I watched most of the Nines and don't even remember Lui in the call at all.

If Captain choice is limited, then I would take the surefire gun and potential cow.

But one of the things Sportal and Fanatics has taught me is to add up the known averages. So if you do have a gun Captain, then in this example I would take Cartwright and Sue.

I already have Smith and Surgess. I think I like the two mid rangers better as well. The team looks more balanced.

Yep, the mid rangers sound better then. Was looking at your 3 options on the other thread, but deadset did my head in trying to split them!

-6 line on Cowboys to beat an under strength Leeds with no sinfield any more looks mighty tempting. Anyone know if JT will play soon? Realise their 9s squad was top shelf other than him

    Now you're taking my language

You want 6 minimum 400k+ players

I have the max (7) without it becoming ridiculous on the NPR front!

Yep. Leeds have also lost their best forward (Peacock - retired) since last year, and the main playmaker (McGuire) is injured for a couple of months. They'll probably have to run with Sutcliffe and Lilley (aged 21 and 19) at halfback, and all the information is that NQ will be playing their Grand Final 17. The only things that can trip them up are the crowd and the weather. Leeds's back 5 is actually better than NQs in my opinion, but NQ have a stronger pack and the halfbacks will be different level.

Yep played last night in the trial. Played all of first half I think. Didn't watch second half though.

you are right there, the backline is better than the Cowboys minus the halves pairing obviously

If you are doing this, does it mean your 8 NPRs are $134k as well.

That might limit your options, and make it hard to make cash

Has anyone looked into Jordan Rankin at the Tigers. Possibly gets the centre gig with Simona and also takes over the goal kicking. For $180,000 is this good value if he does. Problem is he won't be named at Centre first week, and will fill in at half the first week (think Brooks is suspended for 1 game), so would only be available in halves until playing four games at centre.

Reckon Tigers backline will be Brooks, Moses, Naiqama, Simona, Rankin, Nofo/Hunt/Addo-carr, Tedesco.

My next question would be is it ridiculous to bring in Sam Burgess for NPR (eg Chee Kam/Henry/Bhana) and swap Rankin for Smith by moving Jnik. Would mean Parcell becomes my starting Hooker.
In other words Burgess for Smith, Rankin for 2RF NPR
