SI and a few of the proper old school sportal boys know alot more than me but I'll tell you what i know mate

just another fantasy group mate, on a facebook page they also have there own site . A fair few of the sportal boys got booted from there, a fair few are still members in the group, I do go on there buts its tough to sift through all the petty arguments and bollocks, to be fair there are a load of guys on there with alot of fantasy knowledge its just the way they go about everything on there

apparently there used to be a load more fantasy groups, legends, weapons, sportal etc not sure if they all still go, infact i know weapons do because they also have their own facebook page as well

in short ask SI and some of the originals if you need more info mate

I've had too much to drink to be rational. Barba might start the season at fullback but he will not play the whole game there. If you pick him you're asking for trouble. He's going to fuck you up.

Mamo is the Knights fullback. End of. Feeney later down the track maybe, a few years off yet. Mamo #1

Thanks for the heads up mate.

The prospectus they wrote doesn't seem too bad, but a lot of what is in it would be covered in a forum like this. So in that regard it's not useful for someone who isn't a casual fantasy coach. But it might be worth looking at the player profile section, but again you guys probs have this covered thru discussion anyways. A good effort though - 370 odd pages.

I was hoping to find a stat for team fantasy points scored/conceded - and particularly if it were separated by position. That would be good to create a strength of schedule.

The prospectus is decent, and alot of time has been spent putting it all together but i get the feeling on some of the write ups they try to mask the potential of certain players or just look at the season avg and say the ol' well they are getting more minutes this year so score x will go up by x amount of points and dont break it down like some of the boys do on here. Still a good read though no doubt

Prospectus is great work. Other people that do something like that charge money for it, so kudos to renegades for making it free.

I think if you were trying to analyse 300+ players, you'd get a bit lazy at times too. And you can't blame them if they can't accurately predict the game time of every Friday he first grader in the NRL

The actual Renegades Facebook page is mostly useless. Just full of people more wiling to say cunt a lot more than provide actual fantasy advice. Some helpful guys on there but you have to wade through a lot of drek to find it.

Good analysis if you are a beginner but they brag about being in the top 3000.

Looked into this a few years back and there really wasn't an advantage. ~5 points in average between top and bottom team at each position

    Parcell worries me.

having there allows for guns elsewhere.

But assuming Koro is still around, which is pretty likely, what scores will he get. He might make $100k by round 10. An achievable result, but he'd still be under $300k. And its also quite possible that his scores won't be quite good enough to have in your 17, so you'll have to find someone else to be a reserve. And when you upgrade you'd have to find $200k from somewhere in order to get a proper gun in. Where is that going to come from? Just hope a new rookie appears by then.

shame, as if I have Parcell as 2nd hooker I can have a front row of Fifita, Woods, James Graham

I'm leaning towards two 400k plus hookers. If Parcell looks like he's playing big minutes I can quickly downgrade but if I start with him I'd have to do surgery if it went tits up

Remember where you heard it first.

Providing they progress through the next fortnight unscathed, Ben Barba will start the year at fullback, Valentine Holmes will be on a wing and Dally M rookie of the year Jack Bird will start in the centres.

Bird and Holmes have the potential to for a lethal right-edge combination, having played together in the exact same position for the Junior Kangaroos.

Also the Lurker reckons there is talk of a swap between the Titans and Dragons - Josh Hoffman for Peter Mata'utia.

With Ray Thompson having fractured his ankle and out for 12 to 14 weeks, now only have to worry about kostjasyn being on bench to steal mins at hooker from Granville right. Still, can't see Granville being 80min at the start of the season.

Also, I know the games which are being broadcast this weekend, but does anyone know which games are being webcast?
