I see it shaking out more like the Roosters the year we all owned
A lot of similar talents that play completely different to Reynolds and as such don't compliment Walker

If you're bringing in Starling you're essentially willing to gamble that Starling will maintain the starting hooker role for the next two months, and Hodgson will stay playing lock off the bench. It's a long time when you consider how tumultuous Ricky's forward rotations/starting team has been recently.

All this talk yet people jumped on CHN without too much of a firestorm a couple weeks back.

I really want to believe he'll be an 80min hooker at the Raiders for the foreseeable future but there's too much chance of Hodgson taking too many minutes off him, even if it doesn't happen this week.
Watch Starling have a huge game of 80 points this week against the dogs and then play 40min against the Storm and the Roosters.

Comparing Hodgson who was club captain, led the team in try assists and controls the tempo of the game is very different from Hudson Young, who while a promising edge forward isn't banging the door down.
Think people are a bit blinded by Starling's price and are trying to manufacture a cow

Have the Raiders won since Starling has started?

CHN was 310k. Also, not that many people did jump on him.

Thinking the same two in for me this week too, but yeah feels a bit like disaster waiting to happen with at least one of them.
Then plan would be Welch to Koro next week or the week after, can't argue with three guns in.

Speaking of CHN, is he still worth jumping on? 4th week starting now, put up two 40s + a 30 with -20 demerits.
I still think I prefer him to Flegler/Starling.
Is it just R13 scaring people off?
I'm seriously considering Leniu -> CHN, one less R13 number in theory but surely more points in the long run.

If I went Leniu -> CHN, Koro would have to lose 29k for me to get him in 1 trade next week. Is that realistic? What does he have to score approx to lose that?

I was disappointed TPJ wasn't made captain.
Whenever the Sharks made one of their most undisciplined players captain (Fifi) he played great football.

Bringing in a Gun MID this week and i think my best options are TPJ and Haas. Haas will definitely play origin, so im thinking bring in TPJ this week so i have him for round 13 and wait till after round 13 to bring in Haas for Watson after he play in round 13. Is this a good plan or do we think TPJ will play origin as well after pledging allegiance to NSW?

I think you're right - which makes the decision to let him go even more bizarre. Apart from the relatively few games where Reynolds was injured, I don't think Walker has played with another half at NRL level. Same for Cook, aside from a couple of games for the Bulldogs (which I remember mainly for their fantasy glory).
The best comment I saw was on here I think - the Bunnies have prioritised signing Jacob Host over keeping Adam Reynolds...

If i saw that I'd have been offended. I only hope you're talking about fantasy wise cause I rate Starling. Not sold on him as a fantasy option this year though, too risky for me.Welshy wrote:

1) We're playing like busteds so who knows what changes that brings week to week
2) If we do find form, we've always had a talented pack even with injuries as we've had guys like Lui playing ressies after QLD last year. Going to be hard to find room for Hodgo and Starling if it means Hodgo in an already cramped pack.
