I am dead serious when I say the only reason I enjoy Rugby League games as a neutral is fantasy football.

I'd turn it off otherwise.

By the way all these comments blowing up about sin-binnings for head-high tackles is kinda coming across as y'all claiming head contact is no big deal. Seemlingly innocuous contact to the head can cause significant injury, so it's completely understandable that the NRL has decided to crack down on it. It's not the 90s anymore, and the culture these days is much more "soft" than it used to be, but it's all with the intention of protecting the players, and that's not a bad thing.

It shouldn't be a big deal, and certainly shouldn't be controversial.

Honestly, most people are reacting so loudly in here because it happened to their Fantasy players or they are Bronco supporters.

100% agree. This is a thing because the NRL is terrified that they're going to get sued in 20 years as players get CTE.

Both instances probably deserved to be on report... they deserved a warning... and max a penalty, but not a sinbin.
It's ridiculous

did anyone actually ask for this? how we go from outrage about a guy kneeing some-one and breaking their ribs when the play was over not being binned, to players being binned and teams taken out of the contest for contact that wouldn't knock the froth off my coffee?
